Thesis defense in English - Dai Nam Pharmacy students confidently work in international environment

In order to help students have the ability to work in an international environment, train them to actively participate in studying and researching, and apply their professional knowledge of pharmacy to their professional activities after graduation, on June 5, Dai Nam University organized a graduation thesis defense ceremony for Pharmacy students of the 7th course in English.
In order to help students have the ability to work in an international environment, train them to actively participate in studying and researching, and apply their professional knowledge of pharmacy to their professional activities after graduation, on June 5, Dai Nam University organized a graduation thesis defense ceremony for Pharmacy students of the 7th course in English.
This year, students of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Dai Nam University, conducted 36 DSDH graduation thesis topics, of which 4 topics were registered for defense in English.
Each student has 15 minutes to present their topic, presenting the objectives, research methods, results, discussion, conclusion and suggestions. Students answer questions from reviewers, questions from Council members; listen to comments and suggestions from the Thesis Evaluation Council. With a confident demeanor, the students of Course 7 have successfully defended their graduation thesis. With convincing arguments and clear arguments in response to the reviewers' and council members' questions, the students received high consensus in the Council's evaluation.
“Most of the thesis topics that students choose are quite practical, with a fresh approach. Students demonstrate their ability and serious working spirit in the results they have achieved. In particular, students have very good English skills, are confident when presenting to the Council as well as answering questions from the reviewers and the Council sharply” – Dr. Phan Thuc Anh – Chairman of the Defense Council, commented.
Student Nguyen Thi Nhu Hoa - a member of the thesis defense team said: "One of the biggest difficulties in the thesis process is learning research methods. After collecting experimental data, we were guided by the teacher on processing methods, how to present tables, evaluate, comment and the most basic things drawn from research practice. At the same time, with the help and guidance of the teacher, we are more confident when presenting research results in English, helping us have the best luggage when entering reality".

Pharmacy students confidently presented their thesis reports to the council.
To achieve these successes, over the past 5 years, Dai Nam University has equipped students not only with specialized knowledge but also with necessary skills such as presentation skills, teamwork, critical thinking skills, etc. so that they are confident with good preparation after graduation. Especially thanks to the years of studying and practicing English at school, many students have had more opportunities to work abroad and work at large enterprises.
