The Workshop on Developing University Teaching Skills held on May 29 is one of the regular professional activities of Dai Nam University. This is one of the important goals in the Development Strategy of Dai Nam University to 2025, with a vision to 2030.

“There are no bad students, only bad teachers; the staff and lecturers are the key to determining the quality of training” are the heartfelt words that Dr. Le Dac Son - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dai Nam University always wants to tell each staff, lecturer and employee on the journey of building and developing the school. With the desire to improve capacity; continue to inspire and motivate all staff and lecturers; further promote achievements, Dai Nam University continuously organizes training courses to improve capacity and seminars on developing university teaching skills.

The Workshop on Developing University Teaching Skills held on May 29 is one of the regular professional activities of Dai Nam University. This is one of the important goals in the Development Strategy of Dai Nam University to 2025, with a vision to 2030.

Along with training courses to improve the capacity of staff and lecturers, the University Teaching Skills Development Workshop is a practical activity that contributes to building a team of professional staff and lecturers who are good at their profession, enthusiastic about their work and want to stay with the school for a long time.

Dr. Le Dac Son - Chairman of the Board of Directors especially values developing the quality of staff and lecturers to improve the training quality of the school.

In his opening speech at the Workshop, Dr. Le Dac Son especially emphasized the role and significance of the staff and lecturers in gradually improving the training quality and development strategy of Dai Nam University.

“Teachers are the ones who have the most opportunities to sow good karma in life. If teachers themselves are not aware of their roles and responsibilities, they cannot sow good karma. Teachers themselves must realize their mission. The work we are doing, we must truly love and cherish, then we can do it with all our heart, all our strength and dedication…” said Dr. Le Dac Son.

Dr. Luong Cao Dong - Principal of Dai Nam University said: " All presentations with correct theoretical and practical values, serving the teaching and learning of teachers and students will be considered for application by the school..."

According to Dr. Le Dac Son, in the digital age, teachers are no longer the center of knowledge. Nowadays, students have many “tools” to seek knowledge. If teachers do not change, they will not be able to accompany their students and will not be able to survive in the industry.

“The mission of teachers is to educate, but their mission goes beyond education to leave behind values and marks of happiness. Teaching and grading papers is a way to survive, but to make students love and respect them is to create blessings… ” Dr. Le Dac Son emphasized.

Dr. Can Thi Cuc - Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, the oldest lecturer to participate in the discussion at the Workshop.

Previously, to prepare for the University Teaching Skills Development Workshop at the school level, 16 specialized faculties in the school held a Faculty-level University Teaching Skills Development Workshop with the participation of representatives of the school's Board of Directors and Board of Management.

“The Board of Directors has received hundreds of theoretical and practical papers from lecturers. However, due to limited time, the Board of Directors can only select 07 papers to participate in reporting and discussing at the University Teaching Skills Development Workshop at the school level. All papers with correct theoretical and practical values, serving the teaching and learning of teachers and students will be considered for application by the school…” said Dr. Luong Cao Dong - President of Dai Nam University.

Mr. Vu Van Dien, representing the lecturers of the Faculty of Pharmacy, participated in the discussion at the Workshop.
