The No. 1 University in the Midwest of the United States signed a cooperation agreement with Dai Nam University

Expanding international study and employment opportunities for students, Dai Nam University (DNU) continues to sign a training cooperation agreement with Creighton University - the number 1 university in the Midwest of the United States.

Dai Nam University continues to expand its international cooperation map in the United States

Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Van Hong affirmed: “The signing with Creighton University continues to expand Dai Nam University’s international partnership map. This cooperation opens up many new potentials and opportunities for both sides in sharing knowledge, experience and training diverse and rich academic programs for students.”

Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Van Hong emphasized the school's efforts to implement its educational internationalization strategy.

Dr. Rene Padilla - Vice President for International Cooperation, Creighton University said: Creighton University has close relationships with more than many Fortune companies, large business communities at home and abroad. Each year, Creighton students have access to thousands of job and internship opportunities through the school's partnerships with local, national and international organizations.

Creighton University is ranked in the top 1/3 of the best public universities in the US according to US News & World Report in 2023-2024 and ranked first among Midwestern universities for 16 consecutive years.

Dr. Rene Padilla said: Creighton University is willing to welcome students from Dai Nam University to study and experience.

Important contents in the cooperation between the two sides

With the signed agreement, Dai Nam University and Creighton University agreed to cooperate in the following aspects: Cooperation on student exchange programs between the two schools. Dai Nam University students can register for any study program at Creighton University that they are qualified in terms of language and academics. Furthermore, Dai Nam students also have the opportunity to participate in programs of the Intensive English Language Institute (IELI) at Creighton.

In addition, the two sides also cooperate on the lecturer exchange program, helping lecturers of Dai Nam University have the opportunity to teach, conduct short-term or long-term research, and participate in various academic activities at Creighton. In return, Creighton University will also send its lecturers and students to Dai Nam for exchange, study and work. The number of lecturers and exchange students each year will be specifically agreed upon between the two schools.

During the meeting, the two sides also discussed in depth the opportunities for cooperation in training and developing the Fintech (Financial Technology) industry for Dai Nam University; including training lecturers and short-term training to improve skills (upskill) for those who are studying and working in the Fintech field.

In addition, Creighton University is willing to cooperate with Dai Nam University in training in health sectors such as Medicine, Pharmacy, and Nursing. This is also one of Creighton University's strengths; in which, Creighton University is ranked 31st in the University with the best Nursing major in the United States.

Mr. Rene Padilla shared: “I believe that this cooperation will contribute to improving the training quality of Dai Nam University and Creighton University; expanding the recruitment market and cross-national job opportunities for students of both schools”.
