The alliance of General Business Administration 14-01 and Digital Marketing 14-01 defeated their rival Information Technology 14-01 in a penalty shootout after scoring an emotional equalizer in the official match to make it 1-1, becoming the new champion of the season.

The K14 Men's Football Tournament for New Students gathered 25 teams to compete in nearly 60 intense matches.

With the aim of creating a healthy and useful playground to connect new students; maintain and promote the sports movement; strengthen the spirit of solidarity among students; select new outstanding factors to add to the school's men's soccer team, Dai Nam University organizes the Men's Soccer Tournament to Welcome New Students K14.

Starting from November 11-28, 2020, the K14 Men's Football Tournament gathered 25 teams to compete and brought the audience nearly 60 dramatic and attractive matches, demonstrating fierce and brave fighting with a noble and united sportsmanship spirit.

The referees running the tournament are experienced and highly qualified people from prestigious sports organizations in Hanoi.

Inheriting and promoting tradition, the K14 Men's Football Tournament to Welcome New Students is organized, operated methodically, elaborately and professionally. The matches take place on the school's newly renovated large, beautiful and modern field system. All competing teams have invested carefully in costumes, creating their own colors. The way of organizing the competition and operating the season professionally meets Fifa standards. The referees are experienced and highly specialized people from prestigious sports organizations in Hanoi. In particular, the medical work for the season is also carefully prepared by the Organizing Committee from medical staff, stretchers, first aid equipment, etc.

The medical department is staffed by health students from the school.

On the morning of November 28, the K14 Freshmen Welcome Men's Football Tournament officially ended with many emotions. The champion belonged to the joint team of General Business Administration 14-01 and Digital Marketing 14-01; Runner-up belonged to Information Technology 14-01; Third place belonged to Information Technology 14-05.

Mr. Nguyen Van Hieu - Deputy Head of Administration and Management Department awarded the prize to the Third Place Information Technology Team 14-05.

Also within the framework of the season, the Organizing Committee awarded the title of Top Scorer to player Nguyen Quoc Viet Anh - Information Technology 14-01 with 11 goals scored.

Deputy Secretary of the School Youth Union Vu Dang Tuan Anh - Head of the Organizing Committee awarded the top scorer award to player Nguyen Quoc Viet Anh.

Evaluating the tournament, Mr. Vu Dang Tuan Anh - Head of the Organizing Committee said: “Initially, the Organizing Committee estimated that only about 16 teams would participate, but later the Organizing Committee received registrations from 25 participating teams. That shows that the sportsmanship in particular and the movement activities in general of the new students of K14 are extremely impressive and noteworthy. The tournament took place with carefreeness and enthusiasm, and everyone on the field gave their all for the flag and colors.
