The Ministry of Education of Taiwan establishes an International Talent Recruitment Office at Dainam University

On February 20, 2024, the International Talent Recruitment Office of the Ministry of Education of Taiwan in Vietnam was officially inaugurated at Dainam University. The office was established with the aim of serving as a bridge to provide scholarships for Vietnamese students to study abroad and to work long-term in Taiwan in the international talent training programs in the fields of Industry, Finance, and Semiconductor Technology.

This event marks a significant turning point in the educational cooperation between Vietnam and Taiwan. It also serves as a foundation for Dainam University to vigorously implement international cooperation training programs with universities in Taiwan, especially in the field of semiconductor technology.

The inauguration ceremony of the International Talent Recruitment Office of the Ministry of Education of Taiwan in Vietnam, located at Dainam University, was meticulously organized and dignified.

Attending the ceremony from Taiwan were leaders from the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Vietnam; Long Hoa University of Science and Technology, Minh Tan University of Science and Technology, Con Son University of Science and Technology, and the Taiwan Trade Association in Vietnam - Hanoi Branch.

From the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training, Dr. Pham Nhu Nghe - Deputy Head of the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Training, was in attendance.

Representatives from partner universities included Prof. Nguyen Dinh Duc - Chairman of the Council of University of Science and Technology, Hanoi University of Science and Technology.

From Dainam University, Mr. Le Dac Son - Chairman of the Council, Ms. Cao Thi Hoa - Vice Chairman of the Council, along with the university's Board of Directors and leaders of departments, offices, institutes, centers, and student representatives were present.

The International Talent Recruitment Office (INTACT), as the official and sole representative office of the Ministry of Education of Taiwan in the Northern region.

Mr. Luu Manh Ky - Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Education of Taiwan, sent a congratulatory video message, stating that the International Talent Recruitment Office (INTACT) is an integral part of the International Talent Industrial Education Program (INTENSE) implemented by the Ministry of Education of Taiwan and the National Development Council.

Mr. Lam Dich Dan - Economic and Cultural Attaché of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Vietnam, added that the office serves to connect educational institutions, training programs, scholarship policies, faculty and student exchange programs in the industry field. It encourages Vietnamese students to study in Taiwan and pursue careers there.

Mr. Lam Dich Dan, the Economic and Cultural Attaché, emphasized that all educational institutions wishing to send students to Taiwan for study and work must go through the official representative office located at Dainam University.

Mr. Pham Van Hong, the Rector of Dainam University, expressed confidence that the representative office of the Ministry of Education of Taiwan at Dainam University, with the direct support and collaboration of Long Hoa University of Science and Technology, Minh Tan University of Science and Technology, Con Son University of Science and Technology, as well as other universities and technological enterprises of Taiwan, will effectively develop and implement training programs. This will attract outstanding students from Vietnam and around the world to come to Taiwan for study, research, and long-term employment.

Phát biểu tại buổi lễ, TS. Phạm Như Nghệ gửi lời cảm ơn tới lãnh đạo Bộ Giáo dục Đài Loan và chúc mừng trường Đại học Đại Nam đã được Bộ Giáo dục Đài Loan tin tưởng lựa chọn đặt văn phòng đại diện.

Dr. Pham Nhu Nghe congratulated and highly praised Dainam University for its proactive approach and leadership in collaborating with foreign partners to train high-quality human resources.

"The Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training welcomes Dainam University's proactive and leading role in partnering with foreign counterparts to implement high-quality human resources training programs for the semiconductor industry and other sectors," Dr. Pham Nhu Nghe stated.

The representative office of the Ministry of Education and Training of Taiwan in Vietnam is located on the 5th floor, Room 518, Central Building, at Dainam University.
