When mentioning Tet, everyone thinks of the warmth and family reunion after a year of many daily worries. And Tet is also the time when people think of their roots, repay gratitude, and share love with the less fortunate. With the desire to share difficulties with the less fortunate; show gratitude to wounded soldiers and families of martyrs; educate personality, help students live more responsibly towards themselves, their families and society, Dai Nam University organizes the 9th Love Cake Program with the theme "Sharing Tet - Loving Tet".

This is the 9th year Dai Nam University has organized the program “Banh Nghia Tinh”. It is called “Banh Nghia Tinh” because these are cakes donated, wrapped, boiled and given by staff, lecturers and students to children with cancer, orphans, people with disabilities, lonely elderly people, homeless people, and wounded soldiers – those who have sacrificed a part of their blood and bones to protect the Fatherland.
The 9th season of the Love Cake gathered all the students of 14 Faculties, along with the lecturers of the school and the soldiers of Brigade 26 - Air Defense - Air Force.

Ms. Cao Thi Hoa - Vice Principal of Dai Nam University said: "What is proud is that over the past 8 years, the Love Cake Program has not only spread to generations of Dai Nam students but also spread throughout the country. The value of the cakes is not large, but this is an opportunity for the younger generation to express their gratitude to those who sacrificed their blood and bones to protect the Fatherland, and at the same time spread love to the less fortunate..."
Ms. Cao Thi Hoa carefully trimmed each square Indian almond leaf and guided students in wrapping the cakes.
After 8 consecutive years of implementation, the Meaningful Banh Chung Program of Dai Nam University has mobilized thousands of staff, lecturers and students to participate; raised more than 1 billion VND; teachers and students wrapped and boiled thousands of green Chung cakes, bringing Tet to tens of thousands of less fortunate people in society.
Teachers and students of Dai Nam University and soldiers of Brigade 26 put their sincerity into each cake.

This year, the Love Cake Program season 9 was organized within the framework of a Chung cake wrapping competition, with the participation of soldiers of Brigade 26 - Air Defense - Air Force. Notably, this year's cake also has the flavor of a square-leafed banyan tree picked from the school's banyan tree and given to the school by soldiers of Truong Sa island.
