The first university to train and update professional knowledge in Pharmacy

According to Article 28 of the 2016 Pharmacy Law (Law No. 105/2016/QH13), a pharmacist will have his/her Pharmacy practice certificate revoked if he/she does not have a certificate of completion of the Pharmacy training program or update of professional knowledge within 03 years from the date of being granted the Pharmacy Practice Certificate or from the date of having the certificate of completion of the most recent Pharmacy training program or update of professional knowledge.

Updating professional knowledge in Pharmacy is a training program developed by a training and updating professional knowledge in Pharmacy institution to train and update professional knowledge in Pharmacy for pharmacy practitioners. Upon completion of the training program, pharmacy practitioners will be granted a Certificate of completion of training and updating professional knowledge in Pharmacy.

Therefore, university pharmacists practicing Pharmacy must complete a professional knowledge update course on Pharmacy as a mandatory condition.

Pharmacy practice certificate will be revoked if there is no certificate of completion of training program, updating professional knowledge in pharmacy.

Pursuant to the Law on Pharmacy dated April 6, 2016 and Decree 54/2017/ND-CP of the Government issued on May 8, 2017, pursuant to the Announcement of the Hanoi Department of Health, Dai Nam University is assigned as the training facility, updating professional knowledge on Pharmacy. Dai Nam University officially enrolls students for the first training class to update professional knowledge on Pharmacy in May 2018.

Training course, updating professional knowledge about Pharmacy for university pharmacists practicing Pharmacy in retail scope in Hanoi and neighboring provinces.
