6 excellent students of the Faculty of Nursing - Dai Nam University went to Japan for internship under the Internship cooperation program.

Sharing with us, MSc. Nguyen Viet Anh - Vice Principal of Dai Nam University said: "Japan is a developed country and has a great demand for nursing human resources. Not only do they get to practice and experience a modern and professional working environment in the land of the rising sun, students of the Faculty of Nursing - Dai Nam University also have the opportunity to study and work long-term in Japan with a permanent visa and attractive benefits..."

According to MSc. Nguyen Viet Anh, this is the first batch of Nursing students from Dai Nam University to go to Japan for an internship under the Internship cooperation program between the University and Risekai Medical Center - Japan. In addition to being completely exempted from visa fees, airfare, food and accommodation expenses during the internship, they also receive a subsidy of 10 million VND/person/month.

“To reassure families about sending their children to do internships abroad, the school and representatives of Risekai – Japan went to their homes to share about the internship policy as well as the characteristics of the profession, job opportunities and development potential of the nursing industry in the Japanese market. Parents all trust and agree to send their children to study and improve their qualifications in a developed country like Japan ,” added Master. Nguyen Viet Anh.

MSc. Le Van Duy - Acting Dean of Nursing Faculty, Dai Nam University, gave instructions and took souvenir photos with students before the flight.

The job market in Japan for the Nursing major is very potential. Proficiency in Japanese is an advantage. Students can study and work in Japan with extremely good remuneration. Domestic job opportunities are also very open for nursing graduates who know Japanese… ”, said MSc. Le Van Duy – Acting Dean of the Nursing Faculty.

“I hope that my internship in Japan will help me learn the skills of caring for the elderly at a Japanese nursing home and acquire modern equipment and practical experience so that I can confidently apply for a job anywhere in the future…”, Nguyen Thi Hao shared.

Before going to Japan for internship, students learn Japanese and Japanese culture for free at school.

Evaluating the free Japanese language training program of Dai Nam University, Vu Thanh Hoa - Nursing class 11-01 said: "Before studying, I did not know anything about Japanese as well as Japanese culture and native language. After 3 months of free Japanese language study at the school, we can now communicate basically with Japanese people. This is the premise for us to catch up and learn in the new environment."

Immediately after arriving in Japan, Nursing students - Dai Nam University were instructed and started working.

Learning goes hand in hand with practice; combining theory with practice; training generations of students with solid professional knowledge, good working skills, meeting the needs of recruiting high-quality human resources of domestic and international enterprises right at school has always been the training motto of Dai Nam University over the years.

At the Faculty of Nursing, Dai Nam University, students' practice and internship time accounts for 2/3 of the total study time, which means that one theory period will have three practice periods. In addition to practicing on models and internships at domestic medical facilities, DNU Nursing students also have the opportunity to do internships in developed countries such as Japan, Korea, and China under the Internship cooperation program.

And so that students can quickly catch up and meet the practical requirements of foreign enterprises, the Faculty of Nursing - Dai Nam University has continuously reviewed and changed the training program, linking training with practice, learning with doing..., at the same time helping students learn about the culture of countries to fully equip themselves with professional knowledge as well as practical career experience, creating a successful and sustainable future.
