Dai Nam Badminton Tournament is an annual tournament of Dai Nam University, organized with the aim of creating a healthy playground, promoting the movement of physical exercise and health training in the student community. After the success of the 3rd Badminton Championship, on May 12, 2019, the 4th Dai Nam Badminton Tournament officially kicked off at the Multi-purpose Hall of Le Quy Don Secondary School (Ha Dong - Hanoi). After the qualifying rounds, the final round officially took place on May 19.

The 4th Dai Nam Badminton Tournament gathered more than 40 players to compete.

Sharing about the tournament, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy - Secretary of the Youth Union of Dai Nam University said: " Sports clubs such as badminton, football and tournaments are healthy playgrounds, bringing many benefits to the spirit and health of students. This is the reason why Dai Nam University regularly and continuously organizes tournaments for students in the school to exchange, learn, and improve their health to study better..."

This year's tournament attracted nearly 40 players from 13 faculties in the school. Over 7 days of competition, the players played 16 qualifying matches, competing in 3 events in a round-robin and knockout format: Men's Singles, Men's Doubles and Mixed Doubles. As of May 19, 2019, the Organizing Committee has selected the 5 best pairs to enter the Finals, "competing" for the highest rankings.

This year's badminton tournament was carefully prepared by the Organizing Committee, providing the best service for the athletes to compete and achieve the highest results.

In the final round, the matches were extremely intense with the enthusiastic cheers of the fans, the players competed with all their might, " eight ounces, half a pound ", competing for the score. The results of the 4th Dai Nam Badminton Tournament in 2019 are as follows:

Dramatic right from the preliminary round, in the Men's Singles category, with a fierce competitive spirit, Nguyen Xuan Chien (Faculty of Construction and Architecture) excellently won the First Prize, surpassing Phung Thanh Nam (Faculty of Economic Law) - Second Prize and Third Prize went to Nguyen Duy Hung (Faculty of Business Administration).

In the Men's Doubles competition, there was competition between the two faculties of QTKDF and the Faculty of Information Technology. Although the pair from the Faculty of Computer Science was the most promising candidate, but against a QTKD that also equipped itself with a formidable force and lineup, a surprise happened. The mid-game result: First Prize went to the pair: Luu Dinh Hung and Le Manh Ha (Faculty of QTKD); Second Prize: Nguyen Minh Hieu and Nguyen Bac Vu (Faculty of Information Technology); Third Prize: Pham Van Hai and Do Truong Luu (Faculty of QTKD).

Players always compete with a spirit of sportsmanship, solidarity, honesty and nobility.

The final content of the final match - the Mixed Doubles content, was the competition between the "Faculty of Pharmacy" duo. After 2 tense and evenly matched rounds, the victory belonged to: Le Tran Vu and Tran Vu Ngoc Chau (Faculty of Pharmacy); Second Prize: Nguyen Hai Anh and Nguyen Quang Huy (Faculty of Pharmacy); Third Prize: Vo Thi Nhung and Nguyen Van Thanh (Faculty of Information Technology).

“With the spirit of solidarity, honesty, and nobility, the athletes brought many beautiful matches, dedicating to the audience exciting matches. It can be said that the 4th Dai Nam Badminton Tournament of Dai Nam University was a great success…”, said Mr. Vu Dang Tuan Anh – Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union, Head of the Organizing Committee.

Sharing at the award ceremony, student Nguyen Hai Anh (Faculty of Pharmacy) expressed his wish : “We really want to have a professional competition environment to exchange, learn and practice health to study better. Therefore, we really want the School to maintain and develop tournaments and clubs so that we have the best conditions and environment to practice health…”
