Prepare before submitting application

Find information on the website of the school you plan to register for admission (DKXT). Specifically, find accurate information about the subject combinations used for admission to each major and the 2015 enrollment quota for each major (this information is also available in the document "Things to know about college and university admissions 2015" posted on www.moet.gov.vn or www.thi.moet.edu.vn).

If the school uses many combinations to consider admission for a major, it is necessary to find out the school's regulations on the difference in admission scores between combinations; Find out the additional conditions used for admission in case all the quotas are taken but in the list of candidates with admission scores equal to the expected admission scores; Refer to the admission scores of previous years for the major expected to be admitted; Record the school's admissions consulting phone number to contact for advice when there are any unclear issues...

Based on the score spectrum announced by the Ministry of Education and Training, compare your score with the scores of other candidates in the same group to choose a school that matches your exam results (schools with high, low or average admission scores in previous years). You should choose more than one school and prioritize them so that you can change your preferences in time.

After choosing a suitable school, candidates should submit their application immediately to have time to monitor the school's statistical information and promptly adjust their wishes, if necessary. If the candidate lives far from the school, they need to prepare a letter of authorization to withdraw the application for someone who can assist in withdrawing the application when necessary. The authorization form must clearly state the information about the candidate authorizing the application as stated on the Application Form and the full name, date of birth, address, and ID number of the authorized person.

The application file includes: An application form clearly stating: 4 majors of a registered training school are ranked in order of priority from 1 to 4 (this form can be found on the website of the Ministry of Education and Training and some other online newspapers); Original copy of the Certificate of exam results suitable for the admission round (with the red seal of the school hosting the exam cluster) and 01 envelope with stamps, clearly stating the candidate's full name and address.

How to submit application : Within the prescribed time limit of each admission round, candidates can choose to submit their application and fee by post (express delivery, priority delivery) or directly at the school. If sent by post, the date on the postmark of the place where the application is received must be within the time limit of the admission round. The above forms of application submission are equally valid.

Application submission period: Round I from August 1 to 20; Round I supplementary admission from August 25 to September 15; Round II supplementary admission from September 20 to October 5; Round III supplementary admission from October 10 to 25 (end of receiving university level application); Round IV supplementary admission from October 31 to November 15, 2015 (end of receiving college level application).

When submitting the application for admission, candidates can request to adjust the priority regime and submit documents proving the priority regime; If the application and fee are submitted directly at the school, candidates will be given a receipt for the admission fee payment by the school.

Important to know: For the first round, candidates can only register for 1 school with a maximum of 4 wishes arranged in order of priority for 4 different majors. For the additional admission rounds, candidates can use 3 Certificates of Exam Results at the same time to apply to 3 different schools, each of which can also register for 4 wishes. If they are not admitted, after the end of each additional admission round, candidates can withdraw their application to apply for the next admission round. Candidates who have been admitted in the previous round are not allowed to participate in the next admission round.

It is necessary to understand the consideration of 4 wishes in a school as follows: If a candidate has the admission score for many majors, he/she will be considered for the major with the highest priority. Candidates who are not admitted to the first wish will be transferred to the second wish and considered equally with candidates who registered for the first wish in that major and similarly for the third and fourth wishes. In the 4 wishes, candidates can register for both university and college majors at the same time (if the school has college training).

After submitting application

Regularly monitor the list of candidates who have registered for admission to the school so that they can withdraw their applications to other schools (if necessary) during the first round of admission (Admission regulations stipulate that at least once every 3 days, schools will publish on their websites the list of candidates who have registered for admission to the school by major and rank the exam results from high to low to help candidates judge their chances of being admitted).

In case of withdrawing application to transfer to another school, candidates can choose to come to the school to withdraw directly or authorize in writing a relative to come to the school to withdraw application; If they are on the admission list, candidates are not allowed to register for the following rounds and should prepare admission documents according to the school's regulations.
