The 7th Congress of Dai Nam University Youth Union: Unleashing Youth Power, Leading the Way to Success

With the spirit of enthusiasm and youthful aspirations, the 7th Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Dai Nam University (term 2025-2027) took place successfully, marking a new journey in inspiring youth, leading to success and spreading humanistic values to the community.

The event is not only an opportunity for the School Youth Union to look back on past achievements but also an opportunity to set new goals and orient the youth movement in the coming years.

The congress was attended by representatives of the Party Committee, the School Board of Directors; leaders of the Hanoi Youth Union; friendly units, twinned units and 169 outstanding delegates - excellent cadres and union members from branches throughout the school.

Nearly two decades accompanying students

Over the past two decades, the Youth Union of Dai Nam University has grown and developed continuously. Movement activities such as: "Traditional Camp", "Green Summer", "Warm Winter", "Voluntary Blood Donation"... have become the brand of the University Youth Union, contributing to training skills and raising the sense of social responsibility for students.

Assoc.Prof.Dr.Do Anh Tai – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the School’s Trade Union: “The activities of the Youth Union have provided useful playgrounds, creating conditions for students to develop comprehensively in terms of thinking, personality and sense of responsibility to society. The new Youth Union Executive Committee needs to continue to affirm its role, worthy of being an important bridge to help the School fulfill its mission of ‘devoted to students…”

Phung Vu The Tai - member of the school's Youth Union Executive Committee, course VI shared: "Participating in Youth Union activities has not only helped me practice teamwork and communication skills but also opened up opportunities to explore myself. I once took on the role of head of the organizing committee of a major event - an extremely valuable experience. Through that, I learned how to plan, handle problems and work effectively under pressure. Thanks to those lessons, I have become much more confident in life."

Outstanding achievements

The Congress elected a new Executive Committee of the School Youth Union - exemplary faces representing the enthusiasm, creativity and desire to contribute of Dai Nam youth.

The Congress recognized the remarkable achievements of the School Youth Union during the past term:

Expanding scale: The number of members is constantly increasing, along with the diversification of activities.

Improving the quality of activities: The activities of the Union are becoming increasingly professional, creative and effective.

Actively contributing to the community: Union members have participated in many volunteer activities, supported the community, and contributed to building society.

With the successes achieved, the School Youth Union sets higher goals for the new term:

Building a dynamic and creative learning environment: Creating conditions for students to maximize their abilities.

Improve the quality of Union activities: Innovate working methods, increase student participation.

Training of Youth Union cadres: Fostering a team of young, dynamic cadres with leadership ability.

Expanding cooperation with organizations and businesses: Creating opportunities for students to intern, work and interact with society.

Introducing the new Executive Committee – The beginning of a breakthrough term

The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Dai Nam University, term VII, 2024-2027. With a team of young, enthusiastic and creative staff, representing more than 19,000 students in the school, the new Executive Committee promises to be a strong leader for upcoming movement activities.

Ms. Cao Thi Hoa - Vice President of the School Board: "The Youth Union is not only a place to inspire young people but also an extended arm, helping the School effectively implement strategic goals. I hope that the Executive Committee of the 7th term will continue to be creative and innovative in organizing activities, promoting the spirit of solidarity, enthusiasm and responsibility, so that the Youth Union can truly become a flame of inspiration, spreading positive values in the student community and society."

Comrade Tran Quang Hung - Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Youth Union, Chairman of the Hanoi Student Association, sent his congratulations and expectations: "We believe that the 7th Executive Committee will continue to promote the spirit: 'Where there is need, there is youth, where there is difficulty, there is youth!'"
