The 6th Congress of Dai Nam University Youth Union: Continuing to create a playground for students to develop their thinking, perfect their personality, and spread humanistic values in the community.

The success of the 15-year journey of construction and development of Dai Nam University (DNU) cannot be mentioned without the contribution of the Youth Union. Under the direction and guidance of the University Council and the Board of Directors, the activities of the DNU Youth Union not only connect and gather a large number of students to participate; create an intellectual and useful playground; bring practical and valuable experiences but also have a profound influence in the social community.

In order to summarize the activities of the Union and youth movement of the 5th term - 2019 - 2022 term and elect the Executive Committee of the 6th term - 2022-2024 term, on the afternoon of August 11, the Union of Dai Nam University successfully organized the 6th Congress of Delegates of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.

The 6th Congress of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Dai Nam University had the participation of representatives of the Party Committee, the Board of Directors of the University; representatives of the Hanoi Youth Union; representatives of friendly units, sister units... and 126 excellent delegates who are excellent cadres and members representing the branches and inter-branches of the whole university.

Continue to develop youth movements to create useful playgrounds for students.

Speaking at the Congress, Dr. Luong Cao Dong - Deputy Secretary of the School Party Cell highly appreciated the results of the activities of the Dai Nam University Youth Union for the 2019 - 2022 term. Specifically, the work of the Union and the youth movement has brought a series of useful playgrounds, through meaningful programs such as: Love Cake, Traditional Camp, Green Summer, Warm Winter, Warm Porridge, Reunion Tet, Voluntary Blood Donation... This is a playground for students to experience, develop thinking, improve personality, contribute to enhancing creativity, enthusiasm, solidarity, and volunteering for the community.

Dr. Luong Cao Dong directed the new term of the School Youth Union Executive Committee to strive to promote the achievements, overcome the limitations of the previous term, closely follow the direction of the Hanoi Youth Union and the School Board of Directors to continue to develop the Youth Union movement, worthy of being the "extended arm" of the School in carrying out the mission of "training graduates to have a good life and be good citizens".

At the first working session, the Congress elected the Presidium, the Secretariat, and the Delegate Qualification Examination Committee; Report on the Delegate Qualification Examination Results; Review Report of the Executive Committee of the Dai Nam University Youth Union for the 2019-2022 term; discussed and contributed opinions to the Project on Building the Executive Committee of the Dai Nam University Youth Union for the 2022-2024 term; and conducted the Election of the Executive Committee of the Dai Nam University Youth Union for the 6th term, 2022-2024 term;

Delegates voted to elect the Executive Committee of Dai Nam University, Term VI.

The Congress elected the Executive Committee of Dai Nam University Youth Union, term VI, consisting of 15 comrades representing more than 10,000 union members in the whole school; elected 02 official delegates and 01 alternate delegate to attend the 16th Congress of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Hanoi City, term 2022 - 2027. These are all excellent union officials, with good moral qualities, knowledge and working capacity, ensuring inheritance, innovation and strong development of the Union work and youth movement of Dai Nam University.

Comrade Vu Dang Tuan Anh was honored to be elected by the Congress as Secretary of the Youth Union of Dai Nam University; Comrade Bui Duc Anh and Comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Trang were honored to be elected by the Congress as 2 Deputy Secretaries of the Youth Union, term VI, 2022 - 2024.

The second session opened with a summary report of the activities of the Union and youth movements of the whole school in the 2019-2022 term; at the same time, it presented goals, directions, and tasks for the 2022-2024 term. Here, the School Youth Union Executive Committee also seriously recognized and reviewed the remaining weaknesses, drawing lessons for the Union's work in the 6th term.

The Chairman of the Hanoi Student Association hopes that, in the new term, the Youth Union of Dai Nam University will continue to effectively implement the work of the Union; concretize youth programs and activities closely following the work program of the Hanoi Youth Union. The Hanoi Youth Union always supports and is ready to accompany the youth of Dai Nam University to organize youth movements; create a healthy and useful playground for students to develop their thinking, perfect their personality and contribute to spreading humanistic values in the community.

Also at the Congress, to encourage the spirit of the Youth Union members, Dai Nam University awarded certificates of merit to collectives and individuals with positive achievements in the School Union activities for the 2019-2022 term.

After 7 years of working, comrade Nguyen Thi Thuy - Former Secretary of the Youth Union of Dai Nam University could not help but regret having to temporarily stop working in the Youth Union: "The Youth Union movement is the foundation for us to grow, develop, be creative, live our youth to the fullest and dream of contributing to society. We are proud to have contributed to the strong and sustainable development of the Youth Union movement of Dai Nam University in the recent past.
