On the occasion of the 9th anniversary of Dai Nam University (November 14, 2007 - November 14, 2016) and to celebrate Vietnamese Teachers' Day November 20, on November 17, 2016, Dai Nam University organized the 5th Traditional Camp with the theme "Green Environment - Green Startup" with many meaningful activities.
In the trend of integration and globalization, along with the continuous development of the economy, industrial parks, domestic factories and foreign investment have sprung up in large numbers, solving the demand for labor resources, contributing to promoting the development of the national economy. However, that also causes serious environmental problems such as the greenhouse effect, climate change, and severe environmental pollution. On the occasion of the 9th anniversary of the founding of Dai Nam University (November 14, 2007 - November 14, 2016) and celebrating Vietnamese Teachers' Day November 20. With the aim of educating, raising students' understanding and responsibility for environmental protection; To create a playground for students to be creative, come up with “green start-up” ideas, and develop their passion for business, on November 17, 2016, Dai Nam University organized the 5th Traditional Camp with the theme “Green Environment – Green Start-up” and many meaningful activities.
The 5th traditional camp with the theme “Green Environment – Green Startup” took place with many different activities such as flashmob dance of nearly 500 students, fashion show made from recycled materials (newspaper, nylon, bottles...), tug of war, photo exhibition “beloved school” and art performances by staff, lecturers and students...

Each camp is created by students from different faculties with different ideas about the environment and entrepreneurship, from tables and chairs made from discarded cans, flower pots made from plastic bottles to factory models built in an environmentally friendly direction, using natural energy... all of these ideas from Dai Nam students aim to convey the message that economic development must go hand in hand with environmental protection.

Ms. Cao Thi Hoa - Vice Principal of the School shared: “Establishing a career is very important, however, we need to protect and respect the surrounding environment. If we destroy the environment, the green of the earth is destroying the future of ourselves and our children. Therefore, the Camp is not only an opportunity for students to express their feelings and attachment to the teachers of the School, but Dai Nam also wants to educate students to be aware and responsible for the environment and society.”
“As students sitting in school, with the knowledge and skills learned in class, we develop ideas for decorating the camp with recycled materials and start-up models that can be applied in practice to contribute to the country's economic development and environmental protection.” Student Doan Dieu Linh, a student of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting, shared.
The Camping Festival is a traditional activity of Dai Nam University, held annually in mid-November to celebrate the major holidays of the University. Each year, the theme of the Camping Festival is associated with an urgent issue of society and the country. Therefore, the Camping Festival brings Dai Nam students many meaningful lessons, educating students in understanding and responsibility to the community, family and themselves. With efforts in training and educating students, at the 9th anniversary of the school's founding this year, Dai Nam University was honored to receive a flag of merit from the Ministry of Education and Training for its outstanding achievements in the emulation movement to carry out the tasks of the 2015-2016 school year and certificates of merit for outstanding groups.
