The congress was attended by school-level delegates and Hanoi Youth Union.

At the first session, the Congress elected the Presidium, the Secretariat, and the Delegate Qualification Review Committee; discussed and contributed opinions to the Draft Political Report of the School Youth Union Executive Committee, term II, to be submitted to the Congress, term III; voted to approve the Report on the Qualification Review of Delegates attending the Congress with the result that 100% of delegates were qualified to attend the Congress . The Congress listened to the Review Report of the Executive Committee, term II, term 2012-2015.
In the first session, the Congress also elected 25 excellent comrades with sufficient capacity and enthusiasm to the Executive Committee of Dai Nam University Youth Union, term III, 2015 - 2017. The Congress ended its first session at 3:00 p.m. on December 28, 2015.

The Presidium voted to elect a new Executive Committee.

At the second session of the Congress, the members and youth of Dai Nam University were honored to welcome distinguished guests: Dr. Luong Cao Dong - Vice Principal of the University, Ms. Cao Thi Hoa - Vice Principal, Mr. Duong Trong Chau - Head of Student Management Department; Comrade Nguyen Duc Tien - Member of the Standing Committee, Propaganda Department of Hanoi Youth Union.

At the beginning of the second session, the Congress listened to Comrade Nguyen Luong Long present the Summary Report of the 2012-2015 term and the working direction for the 2015-2017 term. The report summarized in depth and relatively comprehensively the results in all aspects of work, compared and evaluated the completion of targets according to the resolution of the 2nd Congress; seriously recognized and reviewed the remaining weaknesses, pointed out the causes and drew lessons to continue completing the tasks and work of the 3rd Congress.

Comrade Nguyen Luong Long - Secretary of the School Youth Union, term II, presented the summary report of the 2012-2015 term.

At the second session, comrade Nguyen Huyen Trang - Teacher's Union presented a paper on "Developing Student Clubs". The paper received many comments from the Congress.
During the last term, with the practical contributions of the school's youth to the Youth Union work and the Youth movement of the whole country in general and Hanoi in particular, the youth of Dai Nam University received many awards from the Central Youth Union and Hanoi City Youth Union.
