Thanh Hoa female student becomes valedictorian of Dai Nam University with 29.75 points

Knowing another foreign language is living another life, Nguyen Thi Huyen chose the Korean Language Department of Dai Nam University as her destination. With a near-perfect score of 29.75 in block C00, the female student from Thanh Hoa became the valedictorian of Dai Nam University (DNU) in 2021. Up to this point, Huyen is the valedictorian with the highest score ever at DNU.

Currently, Huyen has enrolled and officially become a new student majoring in Korean Language at Dai Nam University.

Sharing about the "fate" that came to Dai Nam University, the new Valedictorian said: Before applying to DNU, Huyen spent a lot of time researching and verifying the training quality of the school as well as the Faculty of Korean Language and Culture.

“I believe Dai Nam University will provide me with knowledge, skills, thinking, experience and opportunities to develop myself comprehensively; creating the best luggage to conquer my dream…” Huyen shared.

While many young people still place a heavy emphasis on public and private school ideology and choose majors based on trends, the perspective of choosing majors and schools of female students from Nhu Thanh 2 High School - Thanh Hoa is very modern.

She does not place much importance on the concept of public school – school but only cares about the quality of training and the practical experience that students will “enjoy” during their studies at the school. Especially, when choosing a major, Huyen always puts love and passion first.

Female valedictorian with the dream of becoming her own boss, opening a teaching center to help young people who love Korean.

“Only when we have enough love and passion can we stick with it and pursue to the end the major we have chosen…” the female valedictorian confided.

Determining Korean as her university goal, Nguyen Thi Huyen worked hard to study throughout all three years of high school, especially in grade 12. After class, Huyen studied at home and did not take any extra classes. At the end of the second semester of grade 12, when the Covid-19 pandemic broke out, Huyen spent a lot of time reviewing, systematizing her knowledge, and focusing on solving sets of questions.

Huyen set a goal of 27 points and always told herself to try her best to achieve it. The unexpected result helped her become the valedictorian of the school. What made Huyen happiest was being able to win a scholarship worth 100% of the tuition fee for the first semester of the 2021-2022 school year from Dai Nam University. This is also a gift that this female student gives to her parents - who have always accompanied and supported her decision...

Sharing about her dreams and future plans, Valedictorian Nguyen Thi Huyen said: “My dream is to become a girl who is good at Korean, can translate in many places, fill my memory with interesting life experiences to create a good future. After gaining enough experience, I will open a Korean language training center to be my own boss and help young people who love Korean. I believe that the Korean Language and Culture Department of Dai Nam University can help me realize that dream. I am very confident in choosing DNU…”
