According to Dan Tri reporters, Xuan Thuy, Cau Giay, and Pham Van Dong streets - where the National High School Exam sites are located - have been in a state of prolonged congestion since early morning. Local traffic police, traffic inspectors, and volunteer troops had to work very hard to regulate traffic.

In a quick exchange with Dan Tri reporter, Senior Lieutenant Dang Thanh Trung - Deputy Captain of Traffic Police Team No. 6 (Hanoi City Police) - said: "Before the National High School Exam took place, we had a very specific plan for traffic flow and regulation, in order to create the best conditions for candidates as well as their families to travel most conveniently. These days, we mobilized 100% of our staff, on duty from 6am to 10pm every day. At the exam sites, we based on the arrival and departure times of the candidates to arrange forces there, divide lanes, and regulate to avoid congestion. In addition, we also coordinate with other forces such as the City Traffic Inspectorate, police of districts in the area to ensure order, security, and traffic in the areas under our management."

Lieutenant Trung also recommends that people, if it is not really necessary to go through the roads with exam sites, should limit traveling through these areas to avoid traffic jams; or choose other routes for more convenient travel, saving more time.

However, at the same time, some other routes in Hanoi where there are also national high school exam sites, traffic is clear and vehicles can move easily such as Tran Dai Nghia, Nguyen Trai, Tay Son, and Ho Tung Mau streets.
