Time flies, it has been 4 years, my friends! Since I entered Dai Nam University. I remember that day, my father took me to submit my application, from the province, the first time I stepped foot in Hanoi, how bewildered, how surprised a skinny, fragile, weak and shy student was.
Time flies, it has been 4 years, my friends! Since I entered Dai Nam University. I remember that day, my father took me to submit my application, from the province, the first time I stepped foot in Hanoi, how bewildered, how surprised a skinny, fragile, weak and shy student was.
The day I went to submit my application to the school, Hanoi welcomed my father and I with a summer shower, pouring rain all day, my father and I were soaked even though we wore raincoats, when we met Mr. Chau (Head of Student Affairs Department) we were shivering with cold. It was just like that and now we are 4th year students, we have been attached to this school for a long enough time, long enough to love it, to care for it and consider it a part of our youth.
My major in Architecture, that year I studied was the first class, I am sure that all my classmates got in here because they did not pass the entrance exam to the school they wanted, I was no exception, I failed the University of Architecture. The day I found out my university entrance exam results, I cried alone and did not dare to tell anyone, my parents did not blame me at all, I felt even sadder. I thought that my dream of becoming an architect would stop here. Luckily for me, that year my school started recruiting students for the first class of Architecture, when I was accepted, I could not help but doubt because I heard people say that private schools do not provide good training, but the more I studied, the more I realized that it was all due to my own efforts, no matter where I studied, if I was lazy, the result would still be the same.
My class was the first class, but perhaps that was lucky for us, because we were given a lot of opportunities by the teachers in the school. That was the motivation that helped us try harder every day, and above all, more than that, we were taught by Mr. Vu Khoi, who, with decades of experience in the profession, has gradually guided us to grow up, step by step taught us how to work, how to learn the profession, how to behave, communicate... so that when we go to work, we will not be inferior to our friends at the School of Architecture and other schools of Architecture.
My class, although not as large as other classes in the school, but in all school activities, we actively and enthusiastically participated and with the highest determination to win school awards such as: movement activities, Youth Union activities, camping, football and performing arts... A united group, always there for each other in difficult times, having traveled all over the country together, like a family. The times of going on picnics, field trips, sightseeing together, the times of drawing and writing, and the most wonderful time was the trip across Vietnam, perhaps those will be the most beautiful memories of our lives that all of us will never forget.

KTR07-08 student group visited Khai Dinh Tomb - Hue in February 2016
That was the first day of our trip across Vietnam, we arrived in Hue, it was impossible to describe how happy and joyful everyone was during the trip. In just 16 short days, our whole class was together, eating and sleeping together throughout a long journey that we were sure would never be able to have another trip like this again.

The times of drawing and writing in Sa Pa, the memorable camping trips, the times of drinking and relaxing after each project with all the members of the class, where else could those things come from but my Architecture class - KTR 07-01. All of us, each member, each person has their own dreams and goals, but we have one biggest thing in common, we are studying together, all want to become architects. That has bound us together for the past 4 years, learning from each other every day, being taught enthusiastically by Mr. Khoi; such a good environment is probably not found anywhere else.
My school – Dai Nam University, may not be as big or as big as many other schools, may not be as famous as long-standing universities, but for us, those who have studied here, we all love this place, and for me personally, I will probably never regret coming to study here! My BELOVED DAI NAM.
