Realizing the importance of soft skills training for students, the Board of Directors of Dai Nam University has assigned the Faculty of Business Administration to develop and apply the teaching of Soft Skills through practical and useful experiential activities of the Soft Skills Training Camp.
“To be successful, students need to have good specialized knowledge, good foreign language skills and proficiency in soft skills. Meanwhile, soft skills are one of the biggest “gaps” for students after graduation. Universities must be responsible for helping students fill that gap during their time at school. Soft skills learned at university will become an important premise for the formation of work skills and life skills to help students build a solid career in the future…”, Dr. Le Thi Thanh Huong emphasized.

Talking about the Soft Skills Training Camp, Master Pham Van Minh - Head of the Faculty of Business Administration said that this is not a form of "new learning" but a form of "experience" with the purpose of bringing theoretical lessons in class into practical activities, creating a different highlight in the training work of the School. This learning method helps students have more opportunities to practice and experience.

One of the experiential training programs of the Soft Skills Training Camp, Dai Nam University.
It is known that the Soft Skills Training Camp of Dai Nam University is implemented according to the model of combining military camp and summer camp. Participating in the experiential programs of the Training Camp, students are trained in discipline, seriousness, team spirit of the military camp; fun, creativity, teamwork of the summer camp. In particular, students are trained in physical fitness, maintaining team spirit to overcome challenges together and integrate into the learning environment of the University. This activity also helps students to be self-aware; experience and improve personal skills; create excitement and motivation for learning.
“Through 3 experiential sessions with 3 clear purposes, the morning emphasized knowledge, the afternoon focused on skill development and the evening experienced emotions and changed attitudes, the students had very positive changes in perception and action. All of these experiences are lacking in students, so they received them very enthusiastically and proactively…”, shared Master Pham Van Minh.
