Online learning is the optimal solution at a time when students cannot go to school due to the epidemic.

Mr. Luong Cao Dong - Principal of Dai Nam University said: The Covid-19 epidemic continues to develop unpredictably, with no end in sight, while the school year plan must still be completed and training quality must still be ensured. Online training is considered the most optimal solution to maintain learning during the time students are off school.

Accordingly, Dai Nam University has implemented online training since the beginning of the epidemic season, applied to all theoretical and practical courses without having to use the school's practice equipment system.

Dai Nam University is making great efforts to implement online training activities.

Up to now, Dai Nam University has implemented synchronous online training in all 14 training majors and courses in the second semester of the 2019-2020 school year. 100% of lecturers and students participate in online teaching and learning as planned.

Sharing about the plan to test and evaluate the quality of online training, Mr. Luong Cao Dong said: “The Board of Directors has directed the Faculties to regularly organize tests and evaluate the amount of knowledge, skills and attitudes of online learning of students. The results of online learning of students will be used to replace attendance and test scores. Students who do not pass the assessment during the online learning process will not be allowed to take the final exam... As for practical subjects that require the use of the school's facilities and equipment, the school will spend 2 weeks teaching in practice before organizing the exam..."

Also according to Mr. Luong Cao Dong, in addition to the online training tools currently being applied, including: The school's E-Learning training system; Goocus online training system; social networks (facebook, zalo, viber, youtube); gmail, google classroom; zoom meeting, trans... to ensure synchronization and improve the effectiveness of online training activities, the Board of Directors of Dai Nam University has decided to use the teaching and learning environment on the Microsoft 365 technology platform.

Staff, lecturers and students of Dai Nam University are trained online by Microsoft experts to support account creation and use of Microsoft 365 functions in online teaching and learning.

"Currently, all lecturers and students have been given 365 accounts with the suffix dainam.edu.vn or dnu.edu.vn in the Dai Nam University system. The school has also built classes in groups in subjects divided into channels in the group and added teachers to teach as well as assigned permissions to lecturers in those classes. Faculties such as: IT, Pharmacy, Nursing, Foreign Languages, Finance - Banking, Chinese Language and Culture, Tourism... have completed creating classes and channels to deploy online learning. Most lecturers and students have positive feedback about the teaching and learning environment on the Microsoft 365 technology platform..." added Mr. Luong Cao Dong.
