Students majoring in Automotive Engineering Technology at Dai Nam University will be trained in a Japanese standard practical environment.

Training students to practice directly in the business environment from the first year and continuously throughout the study process is an inevitable trend of the current university education model in the world. In Vietnam, Dai Nam University is considered a pioneer in direct training at businesses. Continuing that tradition, on March 10, in Hanoi, Dai Nam University signed a training cooperation agreement with Investment and Development Management Joint Stock Company (IDMC) - the predecessor of Toyota My Dinh Joint Stock Company, creating a professional, modern and practical practice environment for students majoring in Automotive Engineering Technology.

Attending the signing ceremony on the IDMC side were Mr. Nguyen Doan Dung - Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Trinh Cao Huy - Deputy General Director, Mr. Kim Van Quyet - General Director of Toyota Thanh Xuan, Mr. Pham Hong Thanh - Director of Training Center, Mr. Doan Ngoc Du - Deputy Director of Toyota My Dinh Service, Mr. Nguyen Van Thuc - Deputy Director of Toyota Thanh Xuan Service and representatives of IDMC officers and employees.

Dr. Luong Cao Dong affirmed that the signing ceremony is an extremely important premise for students of DNU's Automotive Engineering Technology major to practice their skills in a professional and modern environment.

On behalf of Dai Nam University, there were Dr. Luong Cao Dong – Principal, Dr. Le Thi Thanh Huong – Vice Principal, along with leaders, staff, lecturers of the Faculty of Automotive Engineering Technology and student representatives.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Dr. Luong Cao Dong affirmed: “The signing of the training cooperation agreement today is an extremely important premise for students of the Automotive Engineering Technology major at Dai Nam University to be trained right in school, and can work immediately after graduation, without the need for businesses to retrain them…”

The school principal expressed his confidence that with its long-standing reputation, modern workshop system, professional training center and team of dedicated and talented engineers and technicians, IDMC is the perfect training environment for automotive engineering technology.

Mr. Nguyen Doan Dung said IDMC will create the best conditions for Dai Nam students to practice and gain experience.

Ms. Vo Thi Thanh Tam said that the quality of automotive engineering technology training at IDMC is better than anywhere else in the country.

Answering the question of what Dai Nam University students will experience when coming to IDMC, Ms. Vo Thi Thanh Tam - IDMC Training Manager, Toyota Thanh Xuan Service Director said: “Combining training between universities and businesses is an inevitable trend in current conditions. This is also one of the important policies that the Board of Directors and Board of Directors of IDMC are particularly interested in directing the implementation. Dai Nam University has advantages in terms of the number of students, staff and lecturers. The two sides signed a training cooperation agreement.

After the signing ceremony, teachers and students of Dai Nam University visited the training center, the system of workshops for practicing - repairing - maintaining automotive engineering technology of IDMC in Nam Tu Liem and Hoai Duc - Hanoi.
