That is the expectation of Ms. Cao Thi Hoa - Vice President of the University Council of Dai Nam shared at the event Welcoming new students K17 - Welcome the new school year organized by the Faculty of Japanese Language and Culture. The event took place simultaneously at two locations Vietnam - Japan in a jubilant and excited atmosphere towards the 50th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between the two countries.

Attending the event, on behalf of the School's leaders, there were: Ms. Cao Thi Hoa - Vice President of the School Board, Vice Principal; Mr. Dinh Quang Hung - Vice Principal; guests from Japan and many partner businesses of the Faculty in Vietnam joined the event.

The event took place simultaneously at two locations, Vietnam and Japan, in a jubilant and exciting atmosphere towards the 50th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan. This is an annual event that gives new students the opportunity to meet, exchange and connect with the Faculty's leaders, lecturers and generations of students, and at the same time, orients Japanese Language students to have the opportunity to study and work in the land of the rising sun.

Ms. Cao Thi Hoa - Vice President of Dai Nam University Council shared with students of the Faculty of Japanese Language and Culture.

Attending the program, Ms. Cao Thi Hoa shared interesting things about the works that symbolize the friendship between Vietnam and Japan; the virtues of the Japanese people that make the whole world admire such as punctuality, culture of thanking, apologizing, queuing... Through that, she hopes that students of the Faculty of Japanese Language and Culture can train themselves according to the beautiful virtues of the people of the Land of the Rising Sun, striving to become a bridge to spread those cultural beauties to the Vietnamese community in general and students of Dai Nam University in particular.

“In the future, students will be ambassadors of Dai Nam University’s brand, interacting with Japanese people, Japan and going everywhere,” Ms. Cao Thi Hoa emphasized.

Representing the faculty leadership, Ms. Vu Thuy Nga - Head of the Faculty of Japanese Language and Culture gave a welcome speech to the new students of K17, sending her best wishes to all the students who have chosen the Faculty of Japanese Language and Culture as their second home to spend their youthful years. She wished them good academic results and a meaningful student life under the common roof of Dai Nam University.

Japanese Language – The Key to Opening the Door of Opportunity

Japan is one of the important and dominant partners in Vietnam today. The relationship between the two countries has been promoted and developed every day over the past 50 years. Up to now, many Japanese corporations, businesses and companies have actively invested in our country, and Japan has also actively supported Vietnam, especially in training and employment activities. Therefore, choosing to study at the Faculty of Japanese Language and Culture is the key to opening the door to many opportunities in the future.

To help new students better understand the benefits and opportunities of becoming Japanese Language and Culture students, representatives of guest organizations interacted with new students and shared useful information.

Mr. Nguyen Duy Anh - Principal of GAG Japanese Language Academy, Vice President of the Union of Vietnamese Associations in Japan shared about the future prospects for students of Japanese Language & Culture in Vietnam.

Mr. Sakamoto Shigetada - Vice President of the Japanese Language Education Association for Non-Chinese Language Countries JLAN shared about cooperation with schools in Vietnam, providing scholarship programs for excellent students. In addition, he also shared about the process of learning Japanese: "Japanese is very difficult, but if you try hard, it will open up many opportunities in the future".

The Internship Program - Paid internship in Japan is one of the strengths of the Japanese Language and Culture Department. Contributing to this success is the active support of Japanese enterprises. Mr. Takeuchi Kazumichi - General Director of Sekai Jinzai Human Resources Development Joint Stock Company introduced and shared about One Sky Group with an ecosystem specializing in training human resources and international vocational skills, directly connecting with 120 universities and colleges in Vietnam, China, Myanmar, Philippines... The group has 2 Japanese language schools in Osaka and Fukuoka that accept international students, train human resources and have many training systems.

Also at this event, the Faculty of Japanese Language and Culture signed cooperation agreements with partner businesses in Vietnam as well as awarded scholarships to disadvantaged students with the spirit of striving to excel in their studies, and students of courses with excellent academic achievements.
