During the visit and work in Buzen city, representatives of the Faculty of Oriental Studies - Japanese major, Dai Nam University connected with many prestigious businesses and universities in Japan on cooperation in student exchange, Japanese language training programs, internships and jobs for students.

In order to fulfill the commitment to ensure that 100% of graduates of the Faculty of Oriental Studies - Japanese major have jobs; refund 100% of tuition fees for 4 years if students do not find jobs after graduation, recently, Mr. Nguyen Duy Anh - representative of the Faculty of Oriental Studies - Japanese major, Dai Nam University in Japan, together with the Consul General of Vietnam in Fukuoka, paid an official visit to Buzen city, Fukuoka province. During the visit and work in Buzen city, representatives of the Faculty of Oriental Studies - Japanese major connected with many prestigious businesses and universities in Japan on cooperation in student exchange, Japanese language training programs, internships and jobs for students of the faculty.

Welcoming the Consulate General and the Faculty of Oriental Studies - Japanese major of Dai Nam University were Mayor Goto Motohide, Chairman of the Assembly of Representatives Tsumemaru Hirokazu, representatives of Japanese companies, and representatives of universities in the region.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Duy Anh gave an overview of Dai Nam University, the Faculty of Oriental Studies - Japanese major and the school's international training cooperation activities, and expressed his desire to cooperate in student exchange, training programs, internships, and job introductions with prestigious universities and businesses in Japan.

“With a strategic vision of the development trend as well as the wide-open job opportunities of the Japanese Studies industry, Dai Nam University has signed a “Strategic Cooperation Agreement to establish the Faculty of Oriental Studies - Japanese major” with the Japanese Language Association for Non-Chinese Language Countries (JLAN). Accordingly, the Japanese Language Education Association JLAN cooperates with the Faculty of Oriental Studies - Japanese major of Dai Nam University to research Japanese teaching methods and develop the JLAN-Test Japanese Proficiency Test in Vietnam. The establishment of the Faculty of Oriental Studies - Japanese major with a Japanese standard training program and a team of experienced Japanese lecturers is a testament to the success of the cooperative relationship between Vietnam and Japan…” said Mr. Nguyen Duy Anh.

The Faculty of Oriental Studies - Japanese major at Dai Nam University is the first training institution in Vietnam to commit to 100% of graduates having jobs and refunding 100% of 4-year tuition if graduates cannot find jobs.

At the meeting, Mayor Goto expressed his feelings and good impressions of the country and people of Vietnam. Mr. Goto highly appreciated the facilities and training quality of Dai Nam University over the past 13 years, and affirmed that Buzen city attaches special importance to international cooperation, wishing to develop and enhance relations with Vietnam in the process of local socio-economic development.

“We always welcome Vietnamese students in general and students of the Faculty of Oriental Studies - Japanese major at Dai Nam University in particular to study and work in the city ,” said Mr. Goto.

Also at the meeting, typical businesses in the region and representatives of universities in Buzen city were very impressed with the Faculty of Oriental Studies - Japanese major of Dai Nam University and wished to receive students of the Faculty to intern and work long-term in Japan after graduation.
