5.1 Who is the Head of Department?
The Head of the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences is Dr. Pham Thi Hong Phuong. She graduated with a Bachelor of Psychology with honors from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities – VNU and received a scholarship from the University of Toulouse (France) for a major in clinical psychology in 2002.
Dr. Pham Thi Hong Phuong has more than 20 years of experience in teaching Psychology and psychological counseling on love, marriage and family, domestic violence, adolescent reproductive health, and vulnerable youth groups (LGBT+ community, people with HIV, disadvantaged youth, etc.).
Dr. Pham Thi Hong Phuong is also a good expert in soft skills and vocational skills training for youth and students. She is also a partner as an expert in implementing and deploying many social projects of international non-governmental organizations such as Save the Children, Plan International Vietnam, Childfund, World Vision, etc.
