The Speak Up – Dai Nam 2020 contest has just ended with an exciting, dramatic and professional final round. The jury has selected the best contestants to award First, Second, Third prizes, audience votes and the most compatible couple prize. The final round of Speak Up – Dai Nam 2020 took place in an exciting, dramatic atmosphere and demonstrated high professionalism.

Notably, after a short time of launching, the Speak up - Dai Nam 2020 contest has received the attention and response of nearly 100 candidates from universities, colleges, and high schools in Hanoi, such as: Foreign Trade University, Academy of Journalism and Propaganda, Academy of Agriculture, University of Water Resources, University of Construction, Hoai Duc A High School, Banking Academy...

More specifically, the Speak up - Dai Nam 2020 contest, from the idea to the entire plan for organizing the contest, was carried out by the D+PR Media Club - Faculty of Public Relations and Communication, Dai Nam University, including many students who are only first-year students.

Sharing the reason for organizing the Speak Up – Dai Nam 2020 contest, Mr. Pham Van Minh – Head of the contest organizing committee said: Besides professional knowledge, skills are one of the extremely important factors for a person's success. In particular, communication skills, presentation, situation handling, self-expression and persuasion are necessary skills for students, contributing greatly to the success in life of young people.

Speak up – Dai Nam 2020 is not simply a competition to find young people with the ability to host programs, but also a professional and modern practical environment for students of the Faculty of Public Relations and Communication, Dai Nam University to experience and hone their skills. This is also a useful intellectual playground for students in Hanoi to connect, exchange and learn from each other… ” said Mr. Pham Van Minh.

Speak up – Dai Nam 2020 contest has a total prize of up to 50 million VND and many attractive rewards from sponsors...

At the end of the preliminary round, the Organizing Committee selected 12 contestants to move on to the final round. In the final round, the 12 contestants experienced the dramatization competition with 3 parts: Individual challenge; Couple challenge and Top 03 situation challenge.

In the Individual Challenge, each contestant has 3-5 minutes to greet, introduce themselves and host a program of their choice. The judging criteria for this part are voice quality, costume, appearance, style and audience reaction.

Contestant Nguyen Minh Nam (Dai Nam University) and contestant Le Nguyen My Linh (Hoai Duc A High School) with the Couple Challenge competition with the theme "dare or not dare".

In the Couple Challenge, contestants draw pairs and topics before the final night. The topics drawn include: News, Scene, Game show, Event, Teambuilding, Column. Each pair of contestants has a maximum of 03 minutes to perform their performance.

The 3 contestants who made it to the Top 3 Situational Challenge round include: Contestant Nguyen Duc Nam (Water Resources University), contestant Le Thi Nhung (Academy of Journalism and Propaganda) and contestant Hoang Yen Nhi (Foreign Trade University).

At the end of the Individual Challenge and Couple Challenge, the Organizing Committee will select 03 contestants for the Top 03 Situational Challenge. In this round, the contestants will draw the context of any program and host the program. During the hosting process, the Organizing Committee will present unexpected situations or incidents during the organization of events to test the reflexes and courage of the host.

Journalist Ngo Ba Luc highly appreciated the quality of the finalists of Speak Up - Dai Nam 2020.

Evaluating the quality of the contestants at the final round of Speak Up – Dai Nam 2020, journalist Ngo Ba Luc said: “ I was very surprised when the contest gathered contestants of very good quality. 2/3 of the 12 contestants can work as professional MCs right away. The contestants showed their love and passion for the MC profession through their careful and meticulous preparation for the exam. In terms of innate factors, the Top 12 have good voices, good looks, style, and know how to lead on stage…”

MC Phan Doanh commented: “MC and event organization are two of the many careers that Public Relations and Communications students can undertake after graduation. I highly appreciate Dai Nam University organizing practical and professional playgrounds for students to experience. This helps students of the Faculty of Public Relations and Communications to be able to work immediately after graduation without having to be retrained…”

After 3 rounds of competition, the jury selected the best contestants to award prizes. First prize went to contestant Nguyen Duc Nam from the University of Water Resources; Second prize went to contestant Le Thi Nhung from the Academy of Journalism and Communication; Third prize went to contestant Hoang Yen Nhi from the University of Foreign Trade.

The audience vote award went to contestant Le Thu Trang from the Academy of Journalism and Communication and the best couple award went to contestant Nguyen Minh Nam (Dai Nam University) and contestant Le Nguyen My Linh (Hoai Duc A High School).

The audience's choice award went to contestant Le Thu Trang from the Academy of Journalism and Communication.

The award for the most compatible couple went to contestant Nguyen Minh Nam (Dai Nam University) and contestant Le Nguyen My Linh (Hoai Duc A High School).

Third Prize belongs to contestant Hoang Yen Nhi from Foreign Trade University.

Second prize went to contestant Le Thi Nhung from the Academy of Journalism and Communication.

First Prize belongs to contestant Nguyen Duc Nam from Thuyloi University.
