Soft skills contest: Journey to awaken youth's courage

Every admission season, thousands of new students eagerly enter the gates of Dai Nam University. One of the most memorable experiences that you participate in is the soft skills exam. It is not simply a competition, it is a journey of discovery, a memorable experience, and a place where the seeds of talent are nurtured and developed.

Comprehensive challenge, opportunity to shine

Each team of the soft skills camp is a collection of different personalities, with more than 20 new students from different classes and majors. The three weeks of preparation for the Opening performance are the time to “incubate” ideas, prepare props, and practice diligently regardless of hot afternoons or cold evenings.

The Knowledge section with diverse knowledge from economics, politics, society, law, etc. affirms the talent, confidence and mettle of the competing teams.

Not only perfecting intelligence, Dainamers are trained in strength and "Steel courage" through physical games.

Finally, there is an "emotional camp" with quiet moments to slow down and love more.

The students' journey of experience goes from being bewildered when having to connect with strangers, to disagreements and conflicts when working in groups, to difficulties in arranging time for studying, working and taking exams in other subjects, and then to getting into the rhythm and integrating into the group.

It's not just an exam, behind it is a journey of self-discovery, honing valuable life skills from communication to emotional and time management.

Emotional journey of growing up

Recalling the moment when Tuan Anh's team won the soft skills camp, Tuan Anh could not hold back his tears of happiness. "I did not think I could confidently become a team leader, unite everyone and overcome all the challenges together. I want to keep forever the wonderful moments of this youthful journey." The competition helped each student become more confident, dare to think and do, and discover many hidden potentials of themselves.

Sustainable value

More than 3,500 new students of K18 from more than 70 KNMCB classes in the first semester went through many "stages" of rich emotions with "lifetime" lessons. Not a normal 60 - 90 minute exam, the soft skills exam took place in 1 day from 7:30 am to 9:30 pm. Here, students were not only equipped with the necessary soft skills for work and life but also had the opportunity to interact and make friends with many new friends. Many students shared that the soft skills exam helped them become more confident in communication, work more effectively in groups and have a more positive view of themselves.
