According to the General Statistics Office, in the first 6 months of 2016, the total number of unemployed people in Vietnam was 1.12 million people, accounting for about 2.23%. Of which, the unemployment rate of workers with university degrees or higher in the whole country was 3.96% and this figure was especially high in urban areas. However, the unemployment rate is reported to be increasing while businesses keep complaining that they cannot find suitable personnel for their jobs and corporate culture.
Responding to this situation, employers said: Most accounting students studying at universities, colleges, and intermediate schools lack knowledge, work skills, and poor behavior, so businesses do not dare to spend money to recruit and train staff from the beginning because it costs both recruitment costs and time and effort.
In fact, unemployed students cannot blame the labor market but must look at themselves in the learning process of students and partly the responsibility of the school in the training process. In addition to the knowledge learned in school, students need to proactively participate in social activities, do part-time jobs related to accumulating experience to continuously learn and develop good skills for themselves.
In addition, the school education system also needs to look back and consider the appropriate training program for students to learn and develop. However, the future of each student depends mainly on the efforts of each student and the decision to choose the school to entrust their trust to study.
