Signing cooperation agreement with Ha Dong Traditional Medicine Hospital: Eliminating the gap between lecture hall and hospital

On the morning of September 27, Dai Nam University signed a training cooperation agreement with Ha Dong Traditional Medicine Hospital. This “handshake” continues to erase the gap between the lecture hall and the hospital when Dai Nam University Medical students are “at the hospital” 24/7; studying theory and clinical practice right at the hospital under the guidance of a team of Associate Professors, Doctors, Masters, and Specialists I and II.

Attending the signing ceremony, on behalf of Dai Nam University, there were: Dr. Le Thi Thanh Huong - Vice Principal; Associate Professor, Dr., Associate Professor Hoang Duc Hanh - Head of the Faculty of Medicine, along with staff and lecturers of the Faculty of Medicine.

On the side of Ha Dong Traditional Medicine Hospital, there were: Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Duc Minh - Party Committee Secretary, Hospital Director; Associate Professor, Dr. Lai Doan Hanh - Deputy Party Committee Secretary, Hospital Deputy Director; Master, Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Trung - Hospital Deputy Director; and leaders of Departments and specialized Offices.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Le Thi Thanh Huong affirmed: Training medical students cannot be without hospitals. This is an important factor, deciding the output quality of medical students.

“Medicine is a profession directly related to human health and life. If not well trained, learning does not go hand in hand with practice, and is not connected to hospitals, real people and real work, it can produce poor quality products, creating bad karma for society…”, Dr. Le Thi Thanh Huong emphasized.

Dr. Le Thi Thanh Huong affirmed: The cooperation between Dai Nam University and Ha Dong Traditional Medicine Hospital will bring benefits to both sides and students will be the ones who "benefit" the most.

Therefore, in the training process, Dai Nam University always focuses on building and developing the relationship between the Institute and the University. By all means, we must bring students the best practice and internship environment; learn for real, work for real, approach patients, and work as real medical staff when doing clinical internships at the hospital.

With the signed cooperation agreement, Ha Dong Traditional Medicine Hospital officially becomes a practice facility for medical students of Dai Nam University, along with the University's leading partner hospitals, such as: Xanh-Pon General Hospital, Ha Dong General Hospital, Viet Duc Hospital, etc.

The two sides agreed to take learners as the center and train learners according to their abilities; closely coordinate in building programs, plans, organizing practical training, evaluating practical results; maximize the resources of the parties in training, scientific research, serving and improving people's health; organize professional seminars...

Ha Dong Traditional Medicine Hospital officially became a practice facility for medical students of Dai Nam University.
