Seminar on Enhancing the Quality of Master’s Theses at Dai Nam University

With the desire to find practical solutions to improve the quality of master's theses in all majors, on the morning of January 23, 2017, at Dai Nam University, campus 56 Vu Trong Phung, a workshop on improving the quality of master's theses took place.
Attending the Workshop on the side of the University were Dr. Le Dac Son - Chairman of the Board of Directors, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phan Trong Phuc - Vice Principal, Director of the Institute of Postgraduate Training, along with teachers in the Board of Directors, Faculty Leaders, lecturers of postgraduate training majors. On the side of the guests, there were representatives from employers, universities, some major banks and research institutes nationwide.

Speaking at the conference, Associate Professor Dr. Phan Trong Phuc gave his assessment of the current status of master's theses, and distinguished between application-oriented and research-oriented master's theses, proposed some criteria and standards for master's theses, and some assessments and directions of the current master's training program in Finance-Banking, Accounting and Economic Management of Dai Nam.

The conference focused on discussing and listening to the opinions of delegates and scientists on the issue of improving the quality of master's theses. After a period of serious discussion, the conference heard many practical contributions, such as unifying the structure of master's theses, the thesis must ensure logic between the theoretical chapter, current situation and solutions, the requirements for master's theses must be at a certain level,...
In addition, many practical opinions of the delegates were given, contributing to improving the quality of Master's theses such as: building an international master's training program, strengthening supervision and management of the learning process and master's thesis of graduate students, having a connection between the teaching staff and schools with similar expertise to exchange experiences, etc.

The workshop took place in a lively atmosphere with constructive contributions from experts.
Taking quality as the basis for affirming the brand, Dai Nam University constantly improves the quality of training in the school in general and the quality of Master's training in particular so that students and graduates have high expertise, good skills and meet the needs in the current conditions of deep international integration. Therefore, improving and enhancing the quality of master's theses is a necessary and urgent task that Dai Nam University has been pioneering in changing so that graduates can immediately handle practical work at a high level at the agencies and units where they are working.
