In order to orient students’ thinking in making career decisions, at the same time, to resolve students’ concerns and questions on their career path and create conditions for students to meet and interact with future employers, on the morning of December 28, 2017, at Dai Nam University, Phu Lam campus, a workshop on “Career orientation and job opportunities for pharmacy students after graduation” took place.

In order to orient students’ thinking in making career decisions, at the same time, to resolve students’ concerns and questions on their career path and create conditions for students to meet and interact with future employers, on the morning of December 28, 2017, at Dai Nam University, Phu Lam campus, a workshop on “Career orientation and job opportunities for pharmacy students after graduation” took place.
The program was attended by Dr. Pham Van Nguyen - Vice Principal of the school - Head of the Faculty of Pharmacy, MSc. Nguyen Viet Anh - Vice Principal of the school, along with lecturers, staff and all students of the Faculty of Pharmacy.
On the guest side, there were Pharmacist Vu Hoai Nam - Founder of Pharmalink.vn, Master, Pharmacist Phan Van Hieu - Chairman of the Board of Directors of CVI Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic Company and Master, Pharmacist Le Thanh Son - Director of Benephar Pharmaceutical Company.

The school's leadership presented flowers to guests attending the program.

In his opening speech, Dr. Pham Van Nguyen - Vice Principal of the school - Head of the Faculty of Pharmacy shared that the school is determined to link training with practice, training students to meet the needs of society. This workshop is for students of Dai Nam University in general and students of the Faculty of Pharmacy in particular. The program aims to orient careers and share knowledge in the pharmaceutical industry, helping students make the right career decisions after graduation. This is also an opportunity for students to listen and learn what businesses need, to nurture and prepare for the future.

At the workshop, students listened to useful sharing on the topics: Students' luggage before graduation, Overview of careers and job opportunities for Pharmacy students after graduation and Opening a pharmacy or working as a Pharmacist. From there, students learned more new knowledge, prepared their career luggage to seize career opportunities after graduation. At the workshop, students of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Dai Nam University had the opportunity to interact directly with recruiters and draw many interesting and useful lessons for future work.

Students directly sent many interesting questions to the guests right in the Hall, and were answered and consulted thoroughly. Students understood more about industry information, prepared to seize career opportunities and loved their chosen field of study more.

Students pay attention to useful sharing

The successful conclusion of the workshop brought a lot of really useful knowledge to students of the Faculty of Pharmacy, because it not only provided practical information for final year students but also provided clear study and career orientations for second and third year students of the School. The workshop once again affirmed that the School has clearly recognized the role in training, supporting, orienting and creating maximum conditions for students to develop their full potential, have enough knowledge, skills and necessary experience to confidently embark on the chosen career path.
