Self-assessment report, quality inspection of education of Dai Nam University in 2016

Along with Official Dispatch No. 92/CV-DN sent to the Department of Testing and Educational Quality Assessment and Official Dispatch No. 98/CV-DN registering the plan for educational quality assessment, Dai Nam University has completed the Self-Assessment Report according to educational standards. The Ministry of Education and Training requires the school to closely coordinate with the Center for Educational Quality Assessment - Association of Vietnamese Universities and Colleges (CEA-AVU&C) to soon organize external assessment activities, ensuring the regulations and principles of educational quality assessment; then focus on improving and enhancing training quality according to the recommendations of the Education Quality Assessment Council.

Dai Nam University conducted the report based on 10 assessment criteria: Mission and objectives of Dai Nam University; Organization and management; Training programs; Training activities; Management staff, lecturers and employees; Learners; Scientific research, technology development and transfer; International cooperation activities; Library, learning equipment and other facilities; Finance and financial management. According to the results of the Self-Assessment Report, the university achieved 98.4%. The university has also developed an action plan to achieve 100% of the criteria requirements before conducting external accreditation.

Official dispatch 98/CV-DN registering the plan for quality assessment of educational institutions sent to the Center for Educational Quality Assessment and the Association of Vietnamese Universities and Colleges.
According to the report results, Dai Nam University has solutions and plans for financial autonomy, creating legal financial resources and meeting the training, scientific research and other activities of the university. The planning and allocation of finances for departments in the school are standardized and transparent, in accordance with regulations. However, the school has not yet exploited revenue from scientific research, project funding and funding from outside the school. In addition, the school has not yet conducted annual internal audits. In the coming time, the school will strive to deploy various forms of support for specialized faculties, units and individuals to proactively exploit revenue from scientific research topics and projects. In addition, the school will also organize internal audits to ensure the allocation of costs and the use of finances more reasonably, transparently and effectively.
The Department of Education Quality Assurance highly appreciates the efforts and achievements of the University in ensuring and assessing the quality of higher education in recent times.
