Scientific research activities of Dai Nam University

Right from the beginning, Dai Nam University has identified the development of scientific research (NCKH) among students, staff and lecturers as one of the main tasks of the University. From the perspective of comprehensive development for university students, scientific research activities of students always receive special attention from the school's leaders. Every year, the University periodically organizes the review and awards for outstanding scientific research topics of students in all faculties in the University. At the same time, the University also encourages and creates favorable conditions for students to participate in scientific research topics and competitions outside the University. Thanks to that, students of Dai Nam University have achieved many high achievements in scientific research, typically the 3rd prize of the "Young Vietnamese Scientific Talent" award in 2014. Improving scientific research capacity for students will contribute significantly to improving the quality of training, on the other hand, ensuring that students can integrate into the new era, the era of globalization and digitalization.

Dai Nam University has also issued many policies to encourage the development of scientific research activities among its staff and lecturers. Every year, the University always allocates funding to support scientific research topics of its staff and lecturers. In addition, the University has also established research groups to participate in many external scientific research topics. Typically, in 2015, the Dai Nam University research group ranked 2nd in the group of topics participating in the review of the POHE2 Project on applied career-oriented higher education chaired by the Ministry of Education and Training. The University periodically organizes scientific conferences for students and lecturers; and organizes presentations by young lecturers. In the 2012-2013 school year, the School organized the following seminars: “Improving the quality of accounting and auditing training to meet social needs”, “Restructuring enterprises in the economy” and the Ministry-level scientific seminar “Some solutions to develop production and business in current conditions” co-chaired by the Central Institute for Economic Management, the National Economics University, the Academy of Finance and the Association of Small and Medium Enterprises. In 2015, the School successfully organized the Ministry-level seminar with the theme “Innovation in teaching methods towards developing learners’ capacity at non-public universities”. In 2016, the School will organize the AP16 Vietnam International Scientific Conference with the theme “Ensuring rapid, comprehensive and sustainable economic development in emerging economies”.
