Review of 2015-2016 Academic Year and Orientation for 2016-2017 Academic Year

On September 10^th 2016, Dai Nam University held a ceremony to review the 2015-2016 academic year and set orientation for the 2016-2017 academic year. In the ceremony, both achievements and shortcomings were stated clearly so that every participant understand the need development orientation of the university and their role in that orientation.

On behalf of the leadership of the university, Assoc.Prof. Phan Trong Phuc – President of DNU – provided the Summary Report of the 2015-2016 academic year. The report focused on teaching and learning activities, international cooperation and research achievements of DNU. Along with the significant achievements gained in the academic year, the president also stressed on the challenges and shortcomings so that all participants can understand the missions and actions set for the 2016-2017 academic year.

Next, Mrs. Cao Thi Hoa – Vice President of DNU – also summarized the result of administration and finance activities of the university in the academic year. She also stated the importance of the social activities and expected that these activities will receive enthusiast support from every personnel of the university.

Finally, Dr. Le Dac Son – Chairman of the Board – shared his opinion on the strengths and weaknesses of Dai Nam University and proposed the development orientation in the 2016-2017 academic year. He said “after 9 years, from merely 20 staff and lecturers in 2007, Dai Nam University now has nearly 300 staff and lecturers and offers 11 training programs with about 6,000 students. This result is the collective effort of all personnel in Dai Nam University. With our continuous renovation and contribution, I strongly believe in the sustainable development of Dai Nam University”

At the end of the ceremony, leaders of DNU also honored and gave awards to the individuals and units who made significant achievements in the 2015-2016 academic year.
