With the right direction, good topic, right target audience, low investment but high profit, profound social significance, confident, convincing and creative presentation, the "Black Herbal Pig" Startup Project of the group of students from the Faculty of Business Administration - Dai Nam University has excellently surpassed other teams to win the first prize in the "Creative Youth Startup - Dai Nam University 2018" contest.

The startup project “Black Herbal Pig” by a group of students from the Faculty of Business Administration – Dai Nam University was assessed by the jury to be highly feasible.

The 4th year of the “Youth Creative Startup – Dai Nam University 2018” contest is an annual contest initiated and organized by the Faculty of Business Administration – Dai Nam University in collaboration with the Business Forum Newspaper under the sponsorship of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VICI) and the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union. This is an intellectual and useful playground for young people and students nationwide who want to realize their startup ideas, and at the same time help young people have the conditions to realize their ideas to achieve success in the future.
This year’s contest has the theme “Green Agriculture”. Shortly after its launch, the Organizing Committee received more than 100 startup ideas from units such as: Agricultural Academy, Phuong Dong University, Thai Binh University, Academy of Posts and Telecommunications, Thai Binh Provincial Youth Union, Hoa Binh Provincial Youth Union, Yen Bai Provincial Youth Union and independent candidates.
At the end of the intense preliminary round, the Organizing Committee selected the 5 best projects to compete in the final night, including: Ha Thanh Mushroom Farm Project (Vietnam Academy of Agriculture); Project on growing clean melons and vegetables in greenhouses using agricultural and biological waste (Thanh Hoa Province); Black Wood Pig Herbal Pig Farm Project (group of students from the Faculty of Business Administration - Dai Nam University); Project on applying modern irrigation technology to the production and distribution of fruit bags towards clean and sustainable agriculture (Hoa Binh Provincial Youth Union) and Project on producing Northwest herbal wine (Thai Binh University).

The final night of the Creative Youth Startup Competition - Dai Nam University 2018 had the participation of Comrade Nguyen Anh Tuan - Standing Secretary of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Comrade Doan Van Chien - Deputy Head of the Rural Youth Department of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Van - Director of the Center for Supporting Rural Youth Development - Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union; Mr. Hoang Quang Phong - Vice President of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, journalist Nguyen Tien Dung - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Business Forum Newspaper, General Secretary of the Startup Program; Dr. Le Dac Son - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dai Nam University, Dr. Luong Cao Dong - Principal of Dai Nam University; Prof. Dr. Nguyen Lan Hung - agricultural biology expert, General Secretary of the Vietnam Association of Biology; Prof. Dr. Tran Duy Quy - Director of the Asia-Pacific Institute for Scientific and Technical Cooperation; Ms. To Phuong Thao - Vice President of the Hanoi Women Entrepreneurs Association; Ms. Dang Thanh Van - Founder, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Thanhs Brand and Management Joint Stock Company...; representatives of universities, provincial youth unions and reporters from many press agencies in Hanoi.
Sharing at the Final night, journalist Nguyen Tien Dung highly appreciated the significance of the contest and affirmed that Business Forum Newspaper will continue to accompany Dai Nam University in the following years so that this intellectual playground can be further developed and expanded.

The final night of the Youth Entrepreneurship Competition - Dai Nam University 2018 took place with intense competition between 5 teams. The teams had a maximum of 7 minutes to present their projects and a maximum of 10 minutes to answer the judges' questions.
According to Prof. Dr. Nguyen Lan Hung, the 2018 Dai Nam University Creative Startup Competition has many breakthrough innovations. The projects not only have the right direction and profound social significance but also have high feasibility. The judges had to consider and weigh a lot in scoring and selecting the best team to win the highest prize of the competition.

The 2018 Dai Nam University Creative Youth Startup Final Competition is entering its 4th year and will continue to develop in the following years.
