Competing excellently in 3 rounds, the couple Bui Duc Anh (SBD 001 - Faculty of Accounting) and Vu Ngoc Diep (SBD 018 - Faculty of Pharmacy) won the highest position in the "DNU Elegant Student 2017" Contest, part of the series of activities to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Dai Nam University and celebrate Vietnamese Teachers' Day November 20, 2017.

As part of a series of activities towards the school's anniversary, including: fashmob dancing, camping competitions, art competitions, sports tournaments... the "Elegant Student 2017" contest was opened to create a useful playground for the youth of Dai Nam University to express their intellectual beauty, soul, confidence, and maturity during the years of studying and training at Dai Nam University.

Previously, the 20 finalists had surpassed hundreds of other contestants in the preliminary and semi-final rounds to have the opportunity to shine in the final night of the competition. In addition to having a good appearance, the contestants must demonstrate their courage and talent as well as ensure their grades and academic achievements in class.

At the final night of the contest, the contestants went through four rounds: Greeting, traditional costume performance, evening gown and behavioral round.

The contestants shined in their self-selected outfits. Each pair of contestants brought a different style and image, but what they had in common was confidence in performing, expressing their talent and personality.

After completing the rounds, the 5 best female and 5 best male contestants were selected by the judges to participate in the behavioral round. Next, the 3 contestants with the best and most intelligent behavioral rounds will be selected to participate in the behavioral round 2. This is also a breakthrough round for the contestants to demonstrate their ability, knowledge and intelligence to reach the highest position in the competition.

10 most talented couples compete in the final night

Ms. Cao Thi Hoa (Vice Principal of the University) said: “DNU organizes this contest with the aim of guiding students towards self-improvement, physical beauty, spiritual beauty and personality perfection... And to become the most outstanding students representing the image of the dynamic, creative, knowledgeable, graceful and elegant generation of students of Dai Nam University”.

At the end of the final round, the winning contestants of the “DNU Elegant Students 2017” final night were announced. Accordingly, the contestant pair Tran Thi Uyen (candidate number: 115 – Faculty of Pharmacy) and Bui Duc Anh (candidate number: 001 – Faculty of Accounting) received the Most Favorite Contestant award online; the contestant pair Nguyen Thi Nhung (candidate number: 074 – Faculty of Pharmacy) and Nguyen Tien Huy (candidate number: 051 – Faculty of Tourism) received the Impressive Face award; the contestant pair Vu Ngoc Diep (candidate number: 018 – Faculty of Pharmacy) and Bui Duc Anh (candidate number: 001 – Faculty of Accounting) received the Impressive Performance award; the couple Ta Le Dieu Huyen (candidate number: 053 – Faculty of Economic Law) and Duong Tuan Linh (candidate number: 058 – Faculty of Finance and Banking) received the Talented Student award.

In particular, the owners of the prestigious crown and trophy belong to the couple Bui Duc Anh (SBD 001 - Faculty of Accounting) and Vu Ngoc Diep (SBD 018 - Faculty of Pharmacy), who excellently received the Miss and Mister awards at the 2017 Dai Nam University Talented and Elegant Student Contest.

The couple Bui Duc Anh and Vu Ngoc Diep won the highest position.

Sharing her feelings, the talented young girl Vu Ngoc Diep said: “I have learned many good things as well as new lessons in the contest "DNU Elegant Student 2017". That is patience, perseverance, effort and learning how to listen. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the school for creating a meaningful playground, helping us learn and gain extremely valuable experiences, marking our time studying at school and after graduation."
