Representatives of Southern Taiwan University, Taiwan visited and worked at Dai Nam University

Promoting scientific research and international cooperation is one of the main directions and tasks of Dai Nam University to improve the quality of training, international integration, and meet the requirements of domestic and foreign recruitment. On the afternoon of March 20, 2015, the Department of Scientific Research and International Cooperation, Dai Nam University organized a scientific activity with the topic: "Application of fuzzy set principles in scientific research".

Attending the meeting were teachers in the Board of Directors, leaders of faculties, departments and centers of the school. In particular, the meeting also had the presence of Dr. Ching - Chung Lin, Faculty of International Business and Dr. Ming - Lung Roger Yang, Faculty of International Relations, Southern Taiwan University, Taiwan. Southern Taiwan University, Taiwan is one of the foreign universities that has signed a cooperation agreement and implemented a student exchange program with Dai Nam University.

The fuzzy set principle is a new scientific research method that is being widely applied in the fields of economics, finance and tourism... Attending the meeting, Dr. Ching - Chung Lin, Southern Taiwan University, Taiwan presented and discussed his report " Research methods used in the financial field" . His report received the agreement and support of the teachers of Dai Nam University because of its practical application.

In addition, the teachers also listened to and discussed the report "Applying the fuzzy set principle in analyzing the effectiveness of tourism promotion" by Dr. Nguyen Quang Vinh, Department of Scientific and International Research, Dai Nam University; Report "Multi-objective group decision making based on fuzzy AHP" by Dr. Do Quang Hung, University of Transport Technology.

After the meeting, representatives from Nantai University, Taiwan visited, talked and introduced Nantai University and the study abroad program at the school to students of the English Language Department, Dai Nam University.

The students were very excited about the talk, confidently communicating and asking questions with Dr. Ming-Lung Roger Yang in English, which helped the students develop their foreign language vocabulary, creating an exciting atmosphere.

In particular, some students attending the class were able to communicate fluently in Chinese, which surprised and impressed Dr. Ming-Lung Roger Yang and Dr. Ching-Chung Lin. Through this, it can be seen that the focus on foreign language training for students of Dai Nam University has been and is bringing good results for students and the University.

The talk with Dai Nam students took place in a short time but helped the representative of Southern Taiwan University, Taiwan realize the friendliness, eagerness to learn as well as foreign language ability of Dai Nam students. Thematic activities and meetings with foreign partner universities will always be promoted by Dai Nam and bring them closer to students.
