On the evening of February 26, the Ministry of Education and Training officially announced the National High School Exam Regulations and the University and College Admission Regulations for 2015. Compared to the draft, the official regulations have many changes and adjustments.
Accordingly, in the 2015 national high school exam, the Ministry of Education and Training will organize exams in 8 subjects: Math, Literature, History, Geography, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Foreign Languages.
To be considered for high school graduation recognition, candidates must take 4 exams, including 3 compulsory exams: Math, Literature, Foreign Language and one exam subject of the candidate's choice from the remaining exams. Candidates who are not allowed to study Foreign Language or study in conditions that do not ensure quality will be considered by the Director of the Department of Education and Training and will decide to allow candidates to choose an exam subject instead of Foreign Language among the optional exams.
To be considered for high school graduation recognition and university and college admission, candidates must take the 4 subjects specified above and register to take additional subjects suitable for the combination of subjects for admission as prescribed by the university or college.
To apply for university and college admission, high school graduates must register to take exams according to the regulations of the university or college for the training program they wish to study.
The National High School Exam is held annually. The exam date, schedule, format and duration of each subject are specified in the annual guidelines of the Ministry of Education and Training. The exam content is within the high school curriculum, mainly the 12th grade curriculum.
Candidates must register for the exam before April 30.
High school students Register for the exam at the high school where you are studying grade 12; Independent candidates register at the location specified by the Department of Education and Training.
Deadline for receiving application documents: before April 30 every year. When the application submission deadline expires, if any mistakes or errors are discovered, candidates must promptly notify the Principal of the high school or the Head of the unit where they registered for the exam or the Examination Council on the day of the exam procedure for correction or supplementation.
Special cases are allowed to add certificates to enjoy priority and bonus points. They must be done before the exam date to be valid.
The application for high school graduation recognition must be completed by the candidate and submitted to the place of registration for the exam according to the regulations in the annual instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training.
In the 2015 National High School Exam, The Ministry of Education and Training organizes examination clusters, including examination clusters for candidates taking the exam for recognition of high school graduation and university and college admission: organizing exams for candidates from at least 2 provinces and centrally-run cities (collectively referred to as provinces), chaired by universities, in coordination with the Department of Education and Training;
Exam cluster for candidates taking the exam for high school graduation recognition: organized at the school or inter-school level of the province, chaired by the Department of Education and Training, in coordination with the University.
Candidates are those who have completed high school in the year of the exam; those who have completed high school but have not yet taken the graduation exam or have taken the exam but have not yet graduated in previous years; those who have graduated from high school; those who have graduated from secondary school; other candidates permitted by the Ministry of Education and Training to take the exam (collectively referred to as independent candidates).
Candidates must not be under disciplinary action; register for the exam and submit all required documents and registration fees in full, in accordance with procedures and on time.
In addition, for students studying in high school, they must ensure the conditions for evaluation and classification in grade 12: conduct is classified as average or above, academic performance is not classified as poor. Particularly for students studying GDTX who do not have to classify their conduct and students studying in the form of self-study with guidance, there is no requirement for conduct classification.
Candidates who have not graduated from high school must meet the following conditions: Have graduated from junior high school. In case they are not eligible to take the exam in previous years due to poor academic performance in grade 12, they must register and take the final exam at the high school where they studied grade 12 or where they registered to take the exam for some subjects with an average score below 5.0; ensure that when taking the test score instead of the average subject score to recalculate the average score for the whole year, they meet the academic performance requirements according to regulations.
In case of not being eligible to take the exam in previous years due to being classified as Weak in conduct in grade 12, the People's Committee of the commune where they reside must confirm that they have sufficient qualifications, moral qualities and strictly comply with the policies and laws of the State and local regulations./.
