“I congratulate you all from today on receiving your university degree in Pharmacy, awarded by the school on behalf of the State. You have officially entered the medical profession. I hope and expect that, during your career, you will put your morality first, think about the interests of the people, especially the sick and the poor. The rich will find every way to access the best medical services, to use real and good medicine. Only the poor do not have that condition. They are already poor and miserable, so why should we make them more miserable?

Dr. Le Dac Son - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dai Nam University sent a message to the new pharmacists at the first graduation ceremony, 2019.

At the recent 2019 University Pharmacy Graduation Ceremony, Dr. Le Dac Son - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dai Nam University shared and sent emotional messages to the new pharmacists. We would like to quote the original words of the head of the school, as a spiritual gift for all newly graduated pharmacists as well as students and trainees of Pharmacy majoring in Dai Nam University:

“ After today, the new Pharmacists of Dai Nam University have officially joined the ranks of Vietnamese physicians - intellectuals who are among the country's most elite. As the head of the school, I hope that you will always try and make an effort to express yourself to receive the appreciation and respect of society.

Dear students! To work well and succeed in today's ever-evolving society, a degree is just a passport for you to enter the profession. It is not enough for you to develop yourself and succeed if you stop studying and improving your knowledge . If you do not make an effort to study and improve your knowledge continuously, you will certainly be eliminated . That is the inevitable law of life.

It can be said that, among the specific professions, pharmacy is the most specific profession. The university entrance exam is difficult; the curriculum is difficult; the study time is long; the field of work is directly related to human health and life... The teacher praised and congratulated the students for overcoming the initial challenges after 5 years of studying! The students have demonstrated their determination to study. That achievement warms the hearts of teachers and is a priceless gift that the students give to their parents. Pharmacists must constantly learn and improve their knowledge and skills throughout their lives if they want to surpass themselves and deserve the name that society honors: a Doctor! In addition to new medical knowledge that is constantly updated, pharmacists also have to directly face the pain and life of people. Therefore, doctors must sympathize with patients, consider patients as their loved ones to behave best. You cannot become a true doctor if you do not wholeheartedly devote yourself to the health of the community but only pursue the goal of getting rich...

Dear students! Medical ethics is not far away, it is right in the daily, hourly activities at hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, and pharmaceutical factories - where you work; right in your communication attitude and service spirit towards patients and their relatives. I hope that in the process of working, you will put morality first, think about the interests of the people, especially the sick and the poor. The rich will find every way to access the best medical services, to use real and good medicine. Only the poor do not have that condition. They are already poor and miserable, so why do we make them suffer more, when they are sick, they cannot use real and good medicine???

As pharmacists, holding the power to manage the health and lives of patients, you must never and absolutely not produce fake drugs, trade fake drugs, or store fake drugs; you must not let the poor suffer more misfortune. You must do everything you can so that everyone can be treated with real, good drugs.

New pharmacists of Dai Nam University are confident and active in integration.

Dai Nam University also has sanctions, any Pharmacy student of the school who violates professional ethics (producing fake drugs, trading, storing fake drugs...), the school will completely eliminate them, never accepting that student to study at a higher level at the school.

I believe that in the future, many pharmacists of Dai Nam University in particular and bachelors and engineers in general of the school will hold management and leadership positions in agencies and enterprises. I hope that in that position, you will enrich yourself and your enterprise by providing the best products and services to serve the community, do not enrich yourself by running the mechanism, having roundabout relationships to deprive the people of their assets and benefits. Wealth on the suffering of the people harms the nation and people, that is a crime, you must absolutely avoid it.

If any of you in the future work in a high-ranking position that impacts the whole country and the people, then that is a God-given opportunity that only a million people have. You should consider it a great opportunity to sacrifice your personal and family interests to contribute to the people and the country. How can our Vietnam be strong and not be afraid of being bullied by anyone, how can we make the Vietnamese people forever prosperous, without the scene of people going to work for hire, marrying men abroad, wandering around, begging for a living... If you can do that, you will leave behind a lasting reputation, and people will worship you for thousands of years to come.

With a solid knowledge base, skills and practical experience continuously cultivated during 5 years of studying at the school, generations of Pharmacists at Dai Nam University can confidently work in any environment.

Also from today, you no longer have to imagine, dream of being a pharmacist but have officially placed yourself in the team of doctors of the country. The rate of doctors is still very small compared to the needs in society. Standing under the flag of the Fatherland, let us together determine our responsibility, determination to do our job well in the new stages of life . The wealth in the universe is endless, and the opportunity is yours. You should confidently grasp it!
