By chance, having a conversation with Pham Cong Hoan - Former student of K4 Faculty of Finance and Banking, Dai Nam University, we feel more proud of the University where we nurtured our dreams for 4 years, where many talented and brave people were trained. Mr. Hoan is currently the manager of the personal credit department of ACB Bank, with many dreams and a bright career path ahead.
I AM ALWAYS PROUD OF THE SCHOOL I CHOSE
By chance, having a conversation with Pham Cong Hoan - Former student of K4 Faculty of Finance and Banking, Dai Nam University, we feel more proud of the University where we nurtured our dreams for 4 years, where many talented and brave people were trained. Mr. Hoan is currently the manager of the personal credit department of ACB Bank, with many dreams and a bright career path ahead.
I made the right choice.
Coming to Dai Nam was probably due to “fate”. In 2010, he was the second choice to study Banking and Finance at Dai Nam University, after being unlucky to get into the National Economics University. After researching information, he chose Dai Nam as his destination, because he believed that: Dai Nam was a school specializing in training in banking at that time, so it would definitely be a good environment to study. And until now, he knows he made the absolutely right choice.
I made the right choice.

The 4-year study process at Dai Nam University has trained him to love his chosen field more and has provided him with a lot of knowledge and skills so that he can confidently apply for a prestigious bank - ACB (Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank) right after graduation, and has been working there until now.
Remembering when he took the entrance exam to ACB bank, Mr. Hoan did not have a university degree yet but still confidently applied with only a resume, CV and a final grade transcript from Dai Nam University with honors.
“That day, after the interview with 22 ACB recruiters, the recruiter turned to the question: What school did you study at? Everyone who heard the name Dai Nam University said they had never heard of it, so I had the opportunity to freely talk about the school, the class, and the place I studied,” Mr. Hoan excitedly said.

Mr. Hoan is currently working at ACB bank.
Up to now, he has been working at ACB for 3 years in the personal credit department and he is currently managing a team of 3 members. With a good environment and a clear career path, he is constantly striving, setting a goal to be appointed to a new position by the end of the 3rd quarter.
“At ACB, every quarter, we conduct performance evaluations and classifications. Every year, there are two professional exams to evaluate year-end results, salary and bonus. Luckily, last year, my business and professional results were quite good, and I was trusted by the unit director and assigned to manage the group,” he added.
Assert yourself with your own qualifications and abilities
Like many other students of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting, Mr. Hoan has accumulated a lot of knowledge from his teachers and has always been inspired by them. After graduating, students are completely confident in applying for jobs, confident in their knowledge and confident in the university where they study. When working, students are completely in tune with the demands of the working environment and the demands of the profession.

I have a lot of affection for the place I study, so many times I go to recruit with my boss just to see if there is any Dai Nam graduate so I can be ready to help”.

I want to send a message to new students, not only the Faculty of Finance and Banking, but also to students of all Faculties: Every decision and perspective of ours creates our success. Those who are students at Dai Nam, let’s do something, let’s confidently say that we study at Dai Nam. Our identity is confirmed by our own qualifications and abilities, not by the name of the school we study at.” Those are his heartfelt messages to Dai Nam students.
For students, to study well and seize opportunities for yourself, you must constantly learn and accumulate knowledge, be proactive to accumulate experience. If you have knowledge and experience, opportunities will come. When you go to work, set goals, fight with passion, you will have high achievements, and opportunities for advancement will also come.
