FACULTY OF PHARMACY
TRAINING OBJECTIVES
The Faculty of Pharmacy of Dai Nam University trains University Pharmacists in the direction of production, management and supply of drugs with the goal of becoming one of the training institutions for University Pharmacists with solid expertise, professional ethics, always applying scientific and technological works, Pharmacy in the teaching process for students, contributing to community health care, enhancing the reputation of the country's medicine.

FACULTY'S STRENGTHS
1. Trained by a team of lecturers with many years of experience in the field of Pharmacy with a training program that closely follows social needs.
· Department leaders are all experienced staff from Hanoi University of Pharmacy, Hanoi Medical University, and Military Medical Academy.
· Department staff: are part-time lecturers with experience in production and business.
2. The training program has a total of 165 credits (equivalent to the training program of Hanoi University of Pharmacy).
However, the Faculty of Pharmacy of Dai Nam University has some differences:
· English: 27 credits (Hanoi University of Pharmacy: 8 credits)
· Soft skills: 03 credits (Hanoi University of Pharmacy: 0)
· Some basic and fundamental subjects are shortened to replace English learning.
3. Learn English through Pharmacy every Saturday organized by the Faculty for lecturers and students who love English.
4. Facilities:
· Practice in a standardized practice area of 1,200 m2 and 20 practice rooms with advanced equipment.
· Beautiful, spacious library with enough books and quiet and poetic study corners.
· Experience collective life with a 5000 m2 dormitory right on campus
5. Pharmacy students are trained in laboratory techniques from year 1 to year 4, and have practical internships at pharmaceutical companies and hospital pharmacy departments.
6. Participate in scientific research:
Pharmacy students from the first year have participated in scientific research guided by lecturers:
· Learn about over-the-counter medications
· Learn about herbal medicines and supplements
There are up to 14 scientific research topics invested by the school with 2 goals:
· Training of teaching staff
· Graduation thesis for students
7. Personality development through charity and community activities.
· Department leaders are all experienced staff from Hanoi University of Pharmacy, Hanoi Medical University, and Military Medical Academy.
· Department staff: are part-time lecturers with experience in production and business.

OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENTS
With a training scale of 3,021 students, of which 2,598 are Finance and Banking students who have graduated, many students of the Faculty have become famous and successful faces in many fields (business owners, key officials and excellent employees at commercial banks and enterprises, famous MCs on television... after only 2-3 years of graduation).
The Faculty of Finance and Accounting is proud to have 2 students (Dang Minh Phuong, class 4, and Cao Thi Thu Oanh, class 5) who achieved the excellent valedictorian status of Dai Nam University (out of a total of 4 students) and were honored in the "Ceremony to honor excellent valedictorians graduating from Universities and Academies in Hanoi" in 2014 and 2015.
Students of the Faculty also regularly achieve many high awards in academic and literary and artistic movements such as: Miss Dai Nam, Start-up with Dai Nam, English Speaking, Traditional Camp...
The Faculty of Finance and many lecturers of the Faculty have received Certificates of Merit from the Ministry of Education and Training, Dai Nam University on the occasion of the 5th anniversary of its establishment, Certificates of Merit from the Hanoi Youth Union, certificates of merit for annual achievements in management, teaching, Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union work and movement activities.

The objective of the Faculty is to train Accounting bachelors with good professional ethics and health, mastering basic knowledge of socio-economics, having professional and independent working skills in the field of accounting and auditing; analyzing business activities, having skills in planning accounting and auditing policies in organizations. Graduates can work in enterprises and administrative - career units. In addition, students are also equipped with soft skills, modern foreign language knowledge (English according to TOEIC standard - 450 points) to meet labor requirements in the context of integration.

FACULTY'S STRENGTHS
1. Training program :
Practical learning : This is an opportunity for students to apply theoretical knowledge to practical work, learn and accumulate work experience in the professional environment of leading businesses and organizations in the Law industry. Right from the second year of study, students will have the opportunity to intern at organizations, businesses, offices... in the Law industry instead of the final year like other universities.

Combined with theoretical lessons in class, students can register to participate in critical thinking or scientific research programs from the second year.
