Clip contest “Memories of my university”

Series of activities to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Dai Nam University (November 14, 2007 - November 14, 2017)

I. PURPOSE - REQUIREMENTS
1. Purpose
- Celebrating the 10th anniversary of Dai Nam University (November 14, 2007 - November 14, 2017).
- To encourage and promote the foreign language learning movement; at the same time, discover and honor creative learners with good English skills.
- Create a professional living environment combined with healthy entertainment, meeting the needs of improving the spiritual life of staff, lecturers and students.
2. Requirements
- Attracted a large number of staff, lecturers and students to participate.
- Activities must be carefully prepared, organized safely, effectively and highly educational.
- The contest ensures safety, seriousness, accuracy, objectivity and fairness.
II. PARTICIPANTS
- Cadres, lecturers, employees, union members, students, and alumni of Dai Nam University are allowed to participate as individuals or groups. If participating in groups, the number of participants is from 1 - 6 members/group (Individuals with capacity can register to participate independently).
- Individuals and units have the right to participate, but faculties must ensure the minimum number of participating teams as follows:

III. FORM AND RULES OF THE SCRIPT CREATION AND CLIP MAKING CONTEST “Memories of my university ”
The contest consists of 02 rounds :
3.1. Round 1: Writing the script
- Subjects: Individuals, units, officers, lecturers, students, and alumni all have the right to participate in writing scripts to make clips with the theme "Memories of university lecture halls".
- Clip duration : 5 - 10 minutes.
- Script criteria:
+ Attract the most participants and appear in the clip.
+ Highlighting emotions about the school and university lecture halls at Dai Nam University in the 10 years of its establishment.
+ Shows the school's 10-year formation and development period.
+ There are impressive, unique images of school activities.
- Format: Scripts are written for clips that combine images and acting (avoid photo albums or monologues).
- Language used in clip : English, with Vietnamese subtitles.
3.2 Round 2: Clip making contest
- Quantity: 10 teams with the best scripts will be selected for the clip round.
- Financial support: The organizers support each team with 2,000,000 VND to make clips.
- Language in clip: Clip requires speaking entirely in English, with Vietnamese subtitles.
- Professional support: Foreign Language teachers will help teams edit and polish their English dialogue if necessary.
- Evaluation method: The clips will be posted on the school's Facebook page ( https://www.facebook.com/DAINAM.EDU.VN/?fref=ts ) to conduct voting based on the number of views of the clip on the Facebook page (50% of the total score) and the Jury's evaluation (50% of the total score).
- Jury evaluation criteria:

Note:
In case the Organizing Committee discovers fraud in the voting results, the team will be disqualified.
After the competition, the Organizing Committee has the right to use the clips of the competing teams for the purpose of promoting the School's image.
