Dear: All staff, lecturers and students of Dai Nam University!

"A drop of blood given, a life saved." Voluntary blood donation is a noble act, a beautiful gesture of the whole society in general and the tradition of Dai Nam University in particular. Each drop of donated blood not only contributes to saving the life of a patient in a dangerous moment but also demonstrates the spirit of mutual love, a fine tradition of our nation for thousands of years.

In response to the urgent call of the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion due to the complicated developments of the Covid-19 epidemic, which has seriously affected the blood receiving and supplying activities for treatment of medical facilities nationwide... The amount of blood reserves at the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion and many blood centers is decreasing sharply due to the lack of blood donors. The risk of blood shortage for patients is occurring in many places nationwide and is especially serious in the Northern region.

And towards World Blood Donor Day June 14, 2021, the Youth Union calls on all staff, lecturers and students of Dai Nam University who are eligible to participate in humanitarian blood donation according to the following content:

1. Time: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. June 12, 2021
2. Location: Fixed blood donation point of the Central Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion, address: 132 Quan Nhan - Thanh Xuan - Hanoi
3. Registration form: You can choose one of the following ways:

- Method 1: Send information including: Full name, date of birth, unit, contact phone number to email Doanthanhnien@dainam.edu.vn

- Method 2: Register information including: Full name, date of birth, unit, contact phone number in the inbox of the Youth Union fanpage of Dai Nam University.

- Method 3: Fill in the information in the following online registration form: https://forms.gle/G1TmTt7MKttVJzds8

Registration deadline is 15:00 on June 11, 2021

Based on the number of registrants and the epidemic prevention and safety regulations of the blood donation site, the Youth Union will divide the number of donors into each shift.

Blood donors should pay attention to proper nutrition before and after donating blood. The night before donating blood, donors should go to bed early, avoid staying up too late and not drink alcoholic beverages such as beer or wine.

When donating blood, donors should remember to wear a mask and bring their ID card, citizen identification card or blood donor card.

The Youth Union believes that with the humanitarian spirit of each individual in mobilizing and registering, the humanitarian blood donation movement will always be a valuable tradition of our school.

Note: Staff and lecturers participating in blood donation on June 12, 2021 will be proposed a suitable working time regime to ensure health before and after blood donation.
