1. Function
The Examination and Quality Assurance Department was established on March 3, 2010 and operates under Decision No. 17/QD-DN-HDQT signed and issued by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dai Nam University. The department has the function of advising and directly managing the examination work and the work of ensuring the quality of education for all systems and training levels of the whole school.
2. Mission
2.1. Testing work
- Preside over the development of testing procedures, end-of-course exams, final exams, and entrance exams for regular and joint programs according to regulations.
- Advise the Chairman of the Board of Directors and the Board of Directors to organize entrance exams, final graduation exams, and end-of-term exams in accordance with the regulations and rules of the Ministry of Education and Training: Manage and supervise from the stages of creating questions, duplicating exam questions, organizing exam invigilation, grading, storing, analyzing and processing exam results; preside over the assessment of the accuracy of exam marking, organize random assessment of the results of marking of lecturers' subjects.
- Advise the Chairman of the Board of Directors and the Board of Management on organizing the types of exams and exam formats for each subject. Coordinate with the Faculties to organize, build and manage the exam bank system for each subject, improve and develop exam formats suitable for the training requirements of the majors and training levels to improve the effectiveness of assessment as well as training quality.
- Preside over the organization of computer-based test.
- Research and apply scientific and technological achievements to serve management, teaching, learning and scientific research activities.
2.2. Quality assurance work
- Develop and submit to the Chairman of the Board of Directors and the Board of Management for promulgation of regulations on quality assurance work; develop plans, implement and implement a self-quality assurance mechanism at the school.
- Research evaluation criteria, implement comprehensive solutions to ensure educational quality (including: teaching methods, learning methods, testing and assessment of training quality...)
- Take the lead in coordinating with relevant units to organize the evaluation of training programs, teaching work of lecturers, learning services of students, and collect feedback from employers and graduates.
- Organize self-assessment according to the standards of Quality Assurance in universities as required by the Ministry of Education and Training. Organize surveys, cooperate with organizations inside and outside the school to continuously improve training quality.
- Coordinate and organize activities to ensure the quality of Dai Nam University. Guide and inspect the implementation of quality inspection work at units.
- Organize training courses for staff and lecturers on quality control activities.
