NOTIFICATION

On granting scholarships to students with high entrance scores
and organizing high quality classes with 11th grade students

In order to select students with the ability and learning awareness right from the beginning and at the same time create mechanisms to encourage students to continue to promote their inherent foundation to achieve the best learning results during their study at Dai Nam University, the University has regulations on scholarship levels for students.
1. Full scholarship: Covers 100% of tuition fees and applies to 4 (or 5) years of study at the school and is calculated by semester.
· Grant 100% tuition scholarship for semester 1 to students with entrance exam score of 25 points or higher for the method of using national high school exam results or 27 points or higher for the method of using grade 12 study results.
· In the following semesters, students will continue to receive a 100% tuition scholarship if the previous semester's average score is 8.0 or higher ( only counting the first exam results ). In case the average score is 8.0, the scholarship for the next semester will not be considered.
2. Scholarship for encouraging learning: 50% of tuition fee for the first year of studying at the school
· Grant 50% scholarship of first semester tuition fee to students with entrance exam score of 23 points or higher for the method of using national high school exam results or 25 points or higher for the method of using grade 12 study results.
· In the second semester, students will continue to receive a 50% tuition scholarship if they continuously achieve an average academic score of 8.0 or higher ( only counting the first exam results ).
3. Scholarship for High Quality Class in Pharmacy
3.1. Based on the learning results of regular Pharmacy students, course 11, the school decided to establish a high-quality standard Pharmacy class:
· After the first semester, Pharmacy students of course 11 who achieve high results (Good, Excellent) will be selected for the High Quality class according to the principle of taking the first semester's learning results from high to low until the minimum number of students is 30 students, maximum 50 students. In case there are many students with the same score and the number exceeds 50 students, the secondary criteria (English score, Participation in movement activities, good training results...) will be considered to select enough 50 students.
· From semester 2 to the end of semester 8, at the end of each semester, the School will consider removing (OUT) students who are not qualified to study in the high-quality class according to the principle if the student has an average academic score below 7.0 and will select good students from regular classes to replace (IN) to attend the High-quality class (according to IN and OUT criteria).
3.2. The scholarship policy of the high-quality class is based on the average score of the previous semester for consideration for the next semester ( only the first exam results are counted ) :
· Students with GPA from 7.0 to 7.99 will receive a scholarship of 50% of tuition.
· Students with GPA from 8.0 to 8.99 will receive a scholarship of 75% of tuition.
· Students with an average academic score of 9.0 or higher will receive a 100% tuition scholarship.
Students receiving scholarships under item 1 or item 2 are not eligible for item 3.2 of this notice.
4. Implementation
4.1. Training organization:
· The Faculty of Pharmacy presents to the School's leaders a plan for organizing training and scientific research for the High-Quality class;
· The Faculty of Pharmacy proposes that the School equips the best facilities and practice equipment, in accordance with the plan approved by the School;
· High Quality class students are allowed to register to study ahead of schedule to be able to accumulate enough credits as required to graduate ahead of schedule;
4.2. Class organization:
· Within 10 days after the end of the semester exam, the Faculty of Pharmacy, based on the students' learning results ( only counting the first exam ), proposes plans to organize high-quality classes (from course 11) according to the provisions of Article 3.1 ; proposes scholarship plans for students in high-quality classes according to the provisions of Article 3.2;
· The Training Department, based on the proposal of the Faculty of Pharmacy and the students' academic results, will make a list of students eligible to participate in the High-Quality class and submit it to the Board of Directors for decision on class enrollment;
· The Training Department and the Finance - Accounting Department, based on the proposal of the Faculty of Pharmacy and the students' academic results, make a list of students and the scholarship level received and submit it to the School's leaders for decision on granting scholarships;
The school assigns the Board of Directors of the Faculty of Pharmacy, the Training Department, the Finance - Accounting Department, and the Student Management Department to be responsible for organizing and managing the High-Quality class, creating the best conditions for students to study and conduct scientific research.
