Note on university and college admissions in additional admission rounds

To facilitate candidates to register for additional admission rounds; the Ministry of Education and Training requests candidates, Departments of Education and Training and schools to implement a number of contents.

In order to facilitate candidates to register for admission in additional admission rounds ; to receive comments and contributions from the people and universities, academies, colleges and universities; following Official Dispatch No. 4277 dated August 21, the Ministry of Education and Training notes that candidates, departments of education and training and schools should implement a number of contents.

General instructions

Adjustment of registration time and announcement of admission results for the next admission rounds as follows:

Phase 2 : Schools (Universities and Colleges) receive admission registration from August 26 to September 7, 2015; Announce admission results before September 10, 2015.

Phase 3 : Schools (Universities and Colleges) receive registration from September 11 to September 21, 2015; Announce admission results before September 24, 2015.

Phase 4 : Universities and colleges that have not yet recruited enough students will proactively announce the time to receive registration from September 25 to October 15, 2015 and announce the admission results before October 19, 2015. University admission ends on October 20, 2015.

From October 20, 2015, colleges that have not yet recruited enough will proactively announce the time to receive registration and announce the admission results before November 20, 2015. College enrollment ends on November 21, 2015.

For candidates

According to the current regulations on regular university and college admissions, accepting comments and contributions, in the additional admission rounds , after registering for admission to the school, candidates are not allowed to change their wishes and are not allowed to withdraw their application to transfer to another school.

Candidates use the barcode number of each Exam Result Certificate to register for a single school; submit the Exam Registration Form (according to form 1) by one of the following methods:

Submit to the Department of Education and Training or high school as prescribed by the Department of Education and Training.
By post using express delivery.
Submit directly to the school.

(Registration by post and submission directly to the school must be accompanied by a photocopy of the Certificate of Exam Results)

Candidates can use up to 3 forms to apply to 3 different schools in each admission round, according to the above method.

Upon admission, candidates must bring their Certificate of Exam Results to complete admission procedures at the school.

For the Department of Education and Training

Within the time specified for each registration period in Section 1 of this Official Dispatch, the Departments of Education and Training shall organize the reception of candidates' registrations; transfer candidates' registration data to universities and colleges; at the end of each admission period, send the list of candidates (according to form 2) to the Ministry via the email address ts2015@moet.edu.vn ;

Keep the candidate's registration form.

For universities and colleges

Quickly announce before August 25, 2015: (i) list of candidates admitted in the first round, (ii) remaining quota for additional admission rounds and admission scores for each major (group of majors), regulations for additional admission .

Widely publicized information on the school's website for candidates and parents to know:

The contents according to Section 1 and Section 2 of this Official Dispatch;
Fully update registration information according to the regulations of the 2015 Admission Regulations.

Organize admission exams, announce admission results on the school's website and send admission notices to candidates.

At the end of each admission round, send the admission scores and list of successful candidates to the Ministry of Education and Training's admission data management system.

The Ministry of Education and Training requests that the Departments of Education and Training, Universities and Colleges widely announce and seriously implement the contents of this Official Dispatch.
