With the message “Green living for a peaceful future”, the “Youth with green living” Camping program of teachers and students of Dai Nam University received deep attention and resonance from hundreds of staff, lecturers and thousands of students in the school. Not only educating awareness, raising responsibility for environmental protection among staff, lecturers and students, the program also deeply conveyed the message “join hands to protect the environment, otherwise the environment will destroy our own lives…” to the community.

Ms. Cao Thi Hoa - Vice Principal, Head of Movement Committee - Dai Nam University delivered the opening speech of the Camp.
Speaking at the opening of the Camp, Ms. Cao Thi Hoa - Vice Principal, Head of the Movement Committee shared: “ Under the impact of global climate change, hundreds of millions of people around the world, including Vietnam, will fall into extreme poverty; health, longevity, and quality of life will be severely reduced . On average, in Vietnam, nearly 400 people die of cancer every day. If we do not act promptly, the environment will destroy our lives and the future of the young generation. More than anyone else, students and young people must be the core force of this fight. First, to set an example, then to save ourselves...”

The Youth Camp with Green Living of Dai Nam University received the attention and response of hundreds of staff, lecturers and thousands of students in the school.
It is known that this is not the first time Dai Nam University has chosen the environment as the theme of the Camp. However, each year the school has different ways of choosing and implementing according to hot social issues, creating a good effect in the school and the community.

“The special highlight of this year’s Camp is the message of “saying no” to plastic bags and plastic straws, and classifying waste according to the 3R standard ( Reduce - Reuse - Recycle). Instead of calling on everyone to clean up the trash, we call on staff, lecturers, students and the community to limit the use of plastic products and “not produce” trash…”, said Ms. Cao Thi Hoa.

The booths were invested in, built and elaborately decorated by students according to hot and applicable topics, such as: Green breath, green technology, green sound, green dream, green countryside, clean food, green care, recycled waste, nature's call, let's clean the sea...

Bui Quang Hieu, a student of the Faculty of Construction and Architecture, shared: “ Being able to participate in Green Saturday with my friends, directly come up with ideas to decorate the camp, participate in meaningful performances…, I feel that I need to be responsible for protecting the living environment of myself and those around me…”
