Nearly 300 young people take the biggest selfie in Vietnam

On the afternoon of August 26, nearly 300 young people from universities and colleges in Hanoi gathered at Truc Bach Lake to participate in the Super Selfie program - taking selfies with the largest panorama in Vietnam, co-organized by the General Department of Tourism and VNTRIP.VN.

Since early afternoon, many young people have gathered at the designated area, eager to take this unique selfie. A corner of Truc Bach Lake is crowded with people waiting.

To take this photo, young people just need to download the Vntrip.vn application which is supported on both iOS and Android platforms, then select the Super Selfie feature.

At the photo booth, you just need to scan the QR code to connect to the camera located more than 100m away, press the 'Super Shot' button and take a normal selfie.

Immediately, the selfie just taken will be transferred directly to the participant's phone application and email with full face and panoramic view in high resolution.

While waiting, a group of young people took selfies and checked in in the spirit of the program.

Tan Truc Nhi (first-year student at Dai Nam University) shared: 'This is the first time I have participated in taking selfies with such a large number of people. I feel very excited and proud to be able to stand here and contribute to sharing with the world about the landscape, country and people of Vietnam'.

After taking individual and group Super Selfie photos, despite the hot afternoon weather, nearly 300 young people still stayed to take a photo together to promote Vietnam tourism.

The Super Selfie project demonstrates the agility of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism in applying high technology and new trends to promote the country's tourism.

Since its launch, the program has attracted the attention of hundreds of young people in Hanoi.

The Super Selfie project is taking place in Hanoi from August 20, 2016 to September 4, 2016 with the camera location at the 4th Floor - Boeing Cafe - 29 Truc Bach with a panoramic view of West Lake. After Hanoi, Super Selfie will be present in Ho Chi Minh City around mid-September 2016.
