In order to help new students of K16 quickly integrate into the university environment, new living environment, understand the culture and traditions of the school; different training programs, university study skills, life skills: safety, security; policies on scholarships, tuition fees and other student-related finances... Dai Nam University solemnly organized a week of civic activities at the beginning of the course for nearly 3,000 new students of K16.

The first week of K16's civic activities takes place from October 10 to October 15, 2022. This is an annual activity before each new school year for new students entering the school.

Nearly 3,000 new students of K16 of Dai Nam University entered the civic activity week.

At the Citizenship Week, K16 new students listened to the Principal - Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Van Hong introduce the culture, tradition, mission, vision, and development goals of Dai Nam University until 2025; Dr. Le Thi Thanh Huong - Vice Principal disseminated the plan, training program content, tuition policy, scholarships and other financial policies related to students; Ms. Cao Thi Hoa - Vice Principal and lecturers of the Faculty of Training and Soft Skills Development disseminated knowledge about safety, security and life skills for new students; PA 03 reporter disseminated knowledge about law, fire prevention, etc.

Useful lessons on life skills, security and safety for students

At the civic week, Ms. Cao Thi Hoa - Vice Principal of Dai Nam University shared issues about life attitudes, protecting life, life's pitfalls, dealing with the environment, especially issues about male-female relationships to ensure psychological stability, health to focus on studying...

Accordingly, Ms. Cao Thi Hoa warned students to be wary of traps such as multi-level marketing, gambling, drugs, pawning, betting, etc. When encountering any problems, students should contact teachers and family to share and get advice; should not hide or "jump in after the fact", the consequences will be very dangerous.

Ms. Cao Thi Hoa - Vice Principal shared intimately and frankly about "survival" skills for new students.

Another issue that Ms. Cao Thi Hoa wants new students to pay special attention to is environmental protection. Accordingly, new students should prioritize the use of recycled products, maximize the reuse of plastic products; save electricity, water, paper, limit the use of nylon products; condemn acts of environmental destruction, wasteful use of electricity, water, paper, littering; propagate to relatives and the community about environmental protection...

“Saving the environment means we are saving ourselves and our children's future,” Ms. Hoa affirmed.
