Nearly 100 officers and security guards of Dai Nam University trained in fire prevention and fighting in 2020

“Safety first, human life is the highest” is the management motto in the construction and operation of Dai Nam University over the years. Therefore, in order to effectively implement fire prevention and fighting (PCCC) work and raise awareness, roles and responsibilities for this work for cadres, lecturers, employees and students in the school, on the afternoon of June 27, Dai Nam University coordinated with the Fire Prevention and Fighting Team of Ha Dong district to organize knowledge training, professional training and drills on fire prevention and fighting, rescue and search and rescue plans in 2020.

Fire prevention training is an annual activity of Dai Nam University.

Ms. Thai Thu Phuong - Head of Administration Department of Dai Nam University said: " Organizing training on fire prevention and fighting is an annual activity of Dai Nam University. The school considers this one of the important tasks in the process of building and operating the school. This is also an opportunity for officers, lecturers and staff in the school to improve their understanding and sense of responsibility for fire prevention and fighting activities, thereby being proactive in fire prevention and fighting work, ready to respond to all fire and explosion situations... "

The Fire Prevention and Fighting Team is always ready to be on duty and respond to any situation at Dai Nam University.

At the 2020 Fire Prevention and Fighting Training Session, officers, lecturers and staff were provided with current information on the current fire and explosion situation as well as the role of fire prevention and fighting in the new period by Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Duc Anh - Ha Dong District Police; some legal documents and the nature and principles of fire prevention and fighting and rescue work; causes of fires, how to check fire safety at facilities, fire prevention measures, steps to handle when a fire or explosion occurs, escape skills in a fire, etc.

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Duc Anh said: “Fires and explosions are happening very complicatedly and are increasing in both quantity and damage level. It can be seen that fire prevention and fighting work is very necessary and important in today's life. The grassroots fire prevention and fighting force is considered a very important team because when a fire or explosion occurs, the first people to approach the fire or explosion incident are the grassroots forces. The size of the fire or explosion depends a lot on this force. Knowledge, skills and experience in fire prevention and fighting and rescue will help minimize material and human losses when an incident occurs…”

Evaluating the fire prevention work of Dai Nam University in recent years, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Duc Anh highly appreciated the school's fire prevention system as well as the knowledge of Dai Nam's grassroots fire prevention team.
