With the aim of improving the quality of training, comprehensively developing human resources, striving to make Dai Nam University the leading address for Pharmacy training in the North by 2025, on the morning of October 26, the Chairman of the Board of Directors and the Board of Management of the University had a meeting to discuss the development strategy of Dai Nam University to 2025, with a vision to 2030 with the leaders and staff of the Faculty of Pharmacy. With the spirit of contributing and exchanging ideas frankly and openly, the meeting made many important decisions in the development strategy of the University, including the Faculty of Pharmacy.
With the aim of improving the quality of training, comprehensively developing human resources, striving to make Dai Nam University the leading address for Pharmacy training in the North by 2025, on the morning of October 26, the Chairman of the Board of Directors and the Board of Management of the University had a meeting to discuss the development strategy of Dai Nam University to 2025, with a vision to 2030 with the leaders and staff of the Faculty of Pharmacy. With the spirit of contributing and exchanging ideas frankly and openly, the meeting made many important decisions in the development strategy of the University, including the Faculty of Pharmacy.

Striving to become the leading address for Pharmacy training in MB by 2025
Speaking at the meeting, Dr. Le Dac Son - Chairman of the Board of Directors acknowledged and highly appreciated the contributions of the Faculty of Pharmacy, and believed that in the future, the Faculty of Pharmacy will continue to have strong and steady development steps, contributing positively to the common development of Dai Nam University.
“After 6 years of establishment, the Faculty of Pharmacy has made strong progress, gathering a team of highly qualified and experienced lecturers and staff, a large number of students, becoming a highly trusted pharmacy training address by society. Certainly, with available internal resources and the right development strategy, synchronous and modern investment in facilities and equipment for teaching, learning and practice, in the near future, Dai Nam University will become the leading address for pharmacy training in the North…” Dr. Le Dac Son affirmed.
To achieve the goal of becoming the leading address for Pharmacy training in the North by 2025, Dr. Le Dac Son directed the Faculty of Pharmacy to focus on developing science and technology in the pharmaceutical industry; encourage the establishment of research institutes and medicinal material institutes; make the most of businesses in supporting teaching and learning; improve the staff and teachers' lives; invest in building facilities and modern, adequate practice equipment...
“Regarding the teaching staff, we need to continue to conduct doctoral training, support lecturers to study, attend domestic and international scientific conferences to improve their professional qualifications, and at the same time have policies to help improve the lives of lecturers and staff so that they can work with peace of mind and contribute. Regarding facilities and teaching and learning equipment, the School is continuing to review, supplement and will invest in new, synchronous and modern equipment to best meet the training needs of the Faculty …”, said Dr. Le Dac Son.

Also at the meeting, Dr. Le Dac Son approved the development strategy of Dai Nam University until 2015 and vision to 2030. Specifically:
Regarding its mission, Dai Nam University provides knowledge for students to develop comprehensively and adapt to the demands of society. Teachers and students are dedicated to contributing to the construction and development of a strong and prosperous country.
In terms of vision, Dai Nam University is a university providing multidisciplinary training services with the core training axis being community health protection and care. The school develops in an applied direction. By 2025, Dai Nam University will become a training address highly trusted by society for its training quality of "learning closely linked to real life"; achieving important achievements in research and technology transfer in the field of science of community health protection and care.
About educational philosophy: "Learning to change" is the educational philosophy of the School. Society is constantly moving and changing under the strong influence of knowledge. Science and technology are developing extremely rapidly, requiring each person to continuously learn to adapt for a living and the pursuit of happiness. Learn anytime, anywhere to have enough knowledge to change your thinking, change your way of working and change your life.

Dr. Pham Van Nguyen - Vice Principal, Head of Pharmacy Faculty reported on the teaching situation of the Pharmacy Faculty.
Sharing at the meeting, Dr. Pham Van Nguyen - Vice Principal, Head of the Faculty of Pharmacy said: " Linking training with practice, learning to practice , training generations of pharmacists who are good at their profession, have good moral qualities, becoming a prestigious and quality university pharmacist training address, highly trusted by society is the "compass" and the goal of the Faculty of Pharmacy... With the attention of the School, the Faculty is striving to promote all available internal resources and make full use of external resources for development".
The Faculty of Pharmacy is one of the strong faculties of Dai Nam University. After 6 years of establishment and development, the Faculty of Pharmacy has made strong progress, contributing positively to the development of the University.
Among the 78 permanent staff, there are 4 Associate Professors, 14 PhDs, and 44 Masters. The faculty not only has good professional qualifications and rich experience, but is also very dedicated to the career of educating people, always actively studying and researching to improve knowledge; updating and applying science and technology in teaching.
The annual graduation rate is high, nearly 90%. Actual survey results show that 98% of graduates find jobs in their field.
With the aim of improving the quality of training and comprehensive human development, the Faculty of Pharmacy has invested heavily, synchronously and modernly in facilities and practice equipment. The practice area of the Faculty of Pharmacy has been invested in construction and modern equipment with a total cost of more than 50 billion VND, meeting the practice needs of students.
In addition, the Faculty always focuses on developing training cooperation activities with businesses to help students practice in a professional and modern environment, understand the actual recruitment needs of businesses, and expand future job opportunities...

Speaking at the meeting, Ms. Cao Thi Hoa - Vice Principal shared: " Movement activities are extremely important in training and developing comprehensive human beings. This is the link connecting teachers and students, connecting students with the School, creating motivation to study through healthy, intellectual and useful playgrounds... Meanwhile, the movement activities of the Faculty still have many limitations..."
To overcome these limitations, Ms. Cao Thi Hoa directed that the Faculty of Pharmacy needs to find young, dynamic, and enthusiastic staff to promote movement activities in the Faculty.
Also at the meeting, the Chairman of the Board of Directors and the Board of Management of the School listened to, received and answered many comments from the staff of the Faculty of Pharmacy. Accordingly, urgent issues serving the teaching and learning of the Faculty will be given priority by the School.
