What is Multimedia Industry?
Multimedia communication is a field of study that combines knowledge of press communication and information technology in creating and designing multimedia products, applications and interactions in the fields of communication, advertising, education and entertainment. This is a new profession, developing rapidly thanks to the wings of the 4.0 technical revolution; therefore, it is also known as "the profession of the era".
The training program of the Department of Information Technology - DNU is highly appreciated by the Professors and Doctors in the Evaluation Council for its practical activities.
What do you study in Multimedia Communications?
The training program of the Multimedia Communication major at Dai Nam University not only provides students with basic knowledge of various types of journalism, advertising, and marketing, but also helps students build and implement modern communication plans, and guides them in performing basic communication tasks (content, video production, audio, photography, multimedia editing, digital marketing, graphic design, MC, etc.). At the same time, students learn about the use of 2D and 3D techniques in designing advertising products, editing films, video clips, etc.

What to do after graduating from Multimedia Communications?
After graduation, graduates of this major have many opportunities to work in agencies and businesses related to communication. Not only working domestically, but students of this major can also work in an international environment, communicating and cooperating with foreign partners. What is Public Relations?
Public Relations (PR) is the implementation of specific tasks and strategies to establish a bridge between organizations, businesses and the community, customers (current and potential), investors, the media... to shape and affirm the name, brand of products or units in the entire operation and development process. Currently, the increasing demand for brand positioning requires businesses to strengthen their professional public relations staff. Therefore, this is a very good career opportunity for young people who are passionate about this field.
Currently, the Public Relations major at the Faculty of Communication - Dai Nam University has 02 majors: Applied Public Relations and Marketing Communication, in which the Marketing Communication major stands out with additional Marketing and Business subjects such as: Digital Marketing, Marketing Strategy, Customer Behavior to help students have knowledge and skills in integrated marketing communication activities so that they can immediately start marketing communication activities at the enterprise after graduation.
The training program of QHCC-DNU catches up with the trend with the establishment of the Marketing Communication major.
What do you study in Public Relations?
Students are fully equipped with specialized knowledge in the field of PR such as: principles of PR activities, tools, skills, ethics and responsibilities of people working in the field of PR; public relations in agencies, organizations, enterprises; specialized understanding of specific PR tasks and activities in each field: PR with the community; PR with marketing activities, PR with advertising, ...
At the same time, students are equipped with specialized professional skills in the field of public relations, from building to implementing public relations plans, marketing strategies, producing communication products, identifying promotional opportunities, building organizational and brand images, managing advertising, etc. on diverse and modern communication channels today; applied in many different fields such as corporate, government, social communications, etc. to confidently participate in the labor market after graduation.
What do Public Relations graduates do?
After graduating from Public Relations, students can take on positions such as:
- Internal communications staff, or external communications in domestic and international agencies, businesses, and social organizations.
- Communications specialists are in charge of specialized areas such as press relations, community relations, government relations, issue management, risk management, crisis management, event organization, etc. in professional communications companies.
- Independent consultant and implementer of marketing communications solutions.
- Start building and managing your own public relations consulting firm.
- Teaching at training centers, colleges and secondary schools on communication skills and public relations.

The training program of the Faculty of Communication - Dai Nam University is built according to the standard curriculum framework of the Ministry of Education and Training with practice time up to 60% of the subject time. The Faculty advocates continuously updating the training program through consultation with many communication experts to standardize output knowledge and skills in the direction of application, practice, and "hands-on instruction" for students.
Studying at the Faculty of Communication, Dai Nam University, in addition to studying at school, students have the opportunity to do internships at multinational companies and corporations; study in Korea, Taiwan and China (3 weeks); participate in practical training and internships at TV stations, press agencies, media companies, etc. At the same time, the school has multifunctional rooms such as: Studio, lab, camera equipment, video cameras serving professional subjects.

Admission method for Multimedia Communications and Public Relations – DNU:
- Method 1: Use the results of 03 subjects from the high school graduation exam results according to the registered combination for admission consideration.
